Tasty African food CEO Mr Olaleye, extends his kind gesture to the Super Eagles of Nigeria in London, United Kingdom. As the Eagles camp for an international break in England, where they had faced the Teranga Lions of Senegal in an international friendly encounter that ended 1-1, at Barnet FC’s Bee Hive stadium. Mr Olaleye supports the Super Eagles by taking care of their feeding, thereby extending his philanthropy and kind gesture to the team.
Notably, Mr Olaleye is also a patron and supporter of Team Nigeria UK, Nigeria’s official sporting team in diaspora through its various grassroot programme across the diaspora.
Absolutely an amazing way to close a wonderful international break for the Super Eagles team. That gave other players like Chelsea’s Ola Aina among others opportunity to train and mingle with established players in the Super Eagles team like Ahmed Musa, Ifeanyi Echiejile and Kelechi Iheanacho to name a few.
Team Nigeria UK Director, Mr. David Doherty uses the opportunity to say a very big thank you to tasty African food for choosing to cater for the Super Eagles players and coaching staffs as a kind gesture to close a wonderful time with the squad during the international break in London.

Sports tourism if focused on, is a very remarkable opportunity under tapped in Africa, compared to other terrains.
Many across the globe, travel to the UK, to watch premier league matches, but how many do travel to watch African club matches? Aside the nations cup, that involves more countries and its even once in every two years. Also, leaving aside the world cup, which was only once hosted in South Africa, since inception.
But achieving all these will definitely not be possible without due performance, from our African and even Nigerian sports sector leaders.
Let’s take for instance, according to the FA Director of Grassroots and Coaching Development in England, FA invests £4million annually, into its grassroots football and that is the reason for the results, we are seeing today in the premier league. I believe this can be emulated in Africa and even in Nigeria, if we truly desire and want growth in our sports sector.
By this remarkable growth if achieved, our sports will develope, to an envious stage that others would want to partake in what we do and the things we do, globally. If done the right way. Thereby getting more exposure for our sports in Africa.
This development, am sure will generate profits for investors and create job opportunities for our young ones in the area of mainstream media, social media, hospitality, administrative/management opportunities, coaching, talent identification, intermediary, punditry, e.t.c in the Nigerian economy, if these structures are well planned, outlined and managed, as discussed.
Absolutely, there is need for sport leaders, to advocate for the construction and maintenance of world class, sports facilities in Africa and that is why we are here.
Sports facilities, are an investment in the development and diversification of the tourism industry, as sports tourism contributes to employment creation and poverty alleviation.
The existing formal economies in Nigeria by extension Africa, are not creating jobs fast enough to absorb millions of graduates leaving the various colleges and Universities.
To buttress the discussion so far, data from the Visit Britain research report indicates that in 2014, the United Kingdom received about 800,000 football tourists, who spent approximately, £684million in the country.
This is undoubtedly, a significant shot in the arm for the UK economy.
Without proper policies and strategies, it should be noted that Africa and even Nigeria, will continue to be seriously marginalised, in terms of the benefits of the global sport industry.

Actress, Supermodel and broadcaster, Eunice Olumide has become Team Nigeria (UK) International goodwill ambassador, as announced by the grassroots organization management executives, led by UK based, Nigerian born international sports administrator and pundit, Mr. David Doherty.
Since Eunice Olumide’s debut in BAFTA nominated Middle Man, she is one talent about to take the world by storm. Appearing in Lucas Films “Rogue One” as The Rebellion Leader, other roles include “After Louise” with esteemed actor, Greg wise to name a few.
Eunice Olumide also was selected for a featured cameo in “Ab Fab” The Movie and is the ambassador for the current 2016/2017 body shop “In Our Hands” campaign.
Olumide is known for her versatility across a variety of genres including action, drama and comedy roles, which have taken her across the globe.
Over the last few years, she has grown as a talented actress and presenter, appearing on both BBC and SKY television, with a sellout show at The Stand Comedy Club, during the Edinburgh international fringe festival.
Originally born in working class area in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has been booked all over the world including UK, U.S.A, Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Germany and U.A.E.
Scouted at the age of 15, Eunice Olumide has been twice nominated by the Scottish fashion awards and vogue.com as Model of the year.
She has also appeared in both National and international campaigns, fashion weeks and editorials like Hunger, W-AD, ID Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Oyst, Paper Cut, New York Magazine, Italian Vogue, British Vogue, Bahrain Confidential and many more.
She has also graced the catwalks and modelled for top couture powerhouses including Prada, Alexander Mc-Queen, Mulberry, Christopher Kane, Henry Holland, Vivienne Westwood, Darris Tweed e.t.c.
Much of her personal time is spent on fund raising for numerous charities including Children’s Hospice Scotland, The Well Foundation and The Columbus Hospice.
She is also the ambassador for Breakthrough Breast Cancer TLC, joining the likes of Kate Moss, Edith Bowman, Twiggy, Alan Carr, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne.

The Management officials of Team Nigeria (UK) International, led by Nigerian born, ace international sports administrator and pundit, Mr. David Doherty announces the complete registration of Team Nigeria US in New Jersey, USA.
Team Nigeria US, is an arm of Team Nigeria UK and International for Nigerian descents in the USA, to harness, scout, nurture, support, engage, empower, inspire, give back, educate and develop our grassroot sports, back home in Nigeria.
While speaking with NaijaOnlineTV from his base, in London, United Kingdom, the team’s founder and CEO, Mr. Doherty said, “we are very grateful for this great development, regarding our grassroots development programme and we also hope to complete the final registration of Team Nigeria Canada and Team Nigeria Europe by the end of 2017.
We as well hope to be able to partner with reliable organizations with like minds and individuals in those countries, to achieve all that will be set out, for this noble cause,” he said.
