Waterfront Winter Fun | Canalside Buffalo 2014
The new $24M Ice at Canalside has been an instant hit as people lined up to experience the newest area of Canalside all weekend. Now the largest outdoor public rink in the state it three times the size of the one found at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Over 70 miles of pipe is hidden beneath the newest canals that double as the skating rink in winter. The canals are replicas of the historic Erie Canal which initially brought Buffalo's rise to prominence.
Taking on The Polar Plunge - Buffalo, NY
Thee Dynamic Duo has created another video of an increasingly popular local event - The Polar Plunge. The 8th annual Polar Plunge has exploded from a modest fundraising event with only 50 participants to over 1,500 this year including over 1,000 spectators. The fundraising event for the Special Olympics was held at Woodlawn Beach and included contests for costumes and food.
