Most people will naturally fall to be proship because they will be able to separate their morals and entertainment into separate brain boxes, thats just the reality of it. That's how art has always been, I know you probably don't want to hear this from someone you consider your political enemy, or a 'weirdo demon freak' but it's up to you to manage your only space, not anyone else.
People won't naturally curb their creative energy to suit you unless they are forced to through fear and shame.
I hope you don't immediately get angry at this, I just wish more people would relax and enjoy fandom, and block things they don't wanna see without moaning about it. If you need help, I can help you with some phrases to block so you don't have to see things you won't want to, tumblr is wonderful like that.
I'm not even angry, I'm just disappointed in the mentality that "fiction won't affect reality". It really does. The Jaws affect, for an example, not to mention propaganda used throughout the ages to influence social gravitation. There are plenty of examples beyond that that I can pull from.
My point is, I can't stop people from doing what they want, no, but that doesn't mean I can't disagree with it, or find it wrong morally and justifiably. I shouldn't have to go surfing through a blog in a fandom just to make sure they aren't posting NSFW content of underage characters.
I'm not looking to start an argument, I'm just saying.
