David Tanenbaum (Steve Reich) - Electric Counterpoint #3

This is part three, "Fast" of a three-part progression composed by Steve Reich: Fast/Slow/Fast.  Outside of those familiar with either Reich or contemporary classical guitar, it is best known as being the piece heavily sampled/treated by The Orb on arguably their most widely acknowledged track, Little Fluffy Clouds.

Being from the collective Y Bolanzero album it is likely that this was actually Jugendgitarrenorchester Baden-Württemberg with Tanenbaum as soloist, rather than, as the piece was composed for, solo guitar and tapes.  Originally composed for guitarist Pat Metheny by Reich as a solo guitarist playing over previously recorded tapes (by the same performer) of ten guitars and two bass guitars.
