@CSA survivors who use Max/vid to cope: First of all, I understand. What happened to you was awful, and seeing a relationship between an adult and a child being portrayed as something good and healthy might make you feel better. But it really isn’t helping. It’s normalizing and romanticizing your abuse, and by condoning pedophilia, even fictionally, you’re hurting other CSA victims who don’t want to see that and even actual children who could become convinced that child/adult relationships are okay. Please, find a better coping mechanism, or at least ship Max/vid in private.
