He was 84. Blood, Sweat & Tears produced a trio of Billboard No. 2s: “You Make Me So Very Happy,” “Spinning Wheel” and “And When I Die.”

El primer disco que editaron juntos (Blood, Sweat & Tears, segundo de la banda), le proporcionó tres Premios Grammy, entre ellos el de Mejor Interpretación Vocal Masculina.
