These photos of Michaela DePrince and Daniel Robert Silva tell her story from facing adversary as a war-orphan being called the Devil’s child (ph.1), to being ‘saved’ by adoption (ph.2), followed by Daniel representing Ballet un-rooting Michaela from her past (ph.3) and now, with a dark Medusa-themed history, she stands proud as a star ballerina (ph.4).

SOLAR VISITS - SHOW DAVID LAPORT

Deze week presenteerde David Laport zijn collectie voor herfst/winter 2017 in het Artis aquarium en Solar’s Jeannette en Rogier waren er bij. De Fuse collectie bracht draagbare broekpakken en A-lijn jurken in ijzige blauwe en zilveren tonen gecombineerd met shiny antraciet en zwart. Maar natuurlijk kwamen ook Laport’s signature lichte, luchtige plisséjurken die de zwaartekracht lijken te tarten in poëtisch wit voorbij op de catwalk.
