This is one of my favorites from Bryce Canyon National Park. I love the contrast of colors, and the fog that had yet to burn off in the noon sun.

Dead Horse Point State Park borders Canyonlands National Park. After spending several hours in Canyonlands, we took a trip to this state park to try and catch one of the sunsets that this park is famous for.
It's funny. I have traveled all over in this beautiful United States, but some of my favorite images have come from my home state of Iowa. This image was captured about 10 miles from home at the Bob Shelter Recreation Area near Saylorville Lake.
