I LOVE THIS SHOW AND YOU WILL ALSO LOVE IT.

If you are a fan of cop shows, Mighty Morphin Power rangers, Amy jo Johnson or Veronica mars and you have not watched Flashpoint you should check it out its an amazing show about police officers from an elite unit called SRU based on the Canadian ETF, the members included Sargent Gregory "greg" parker played by Enrico Colantoni, Edward "ed" Lane played by Hugh dillion, Julianna " jules" Callaghan played by Amy Jo Johnson, Samuel w "sam" Braddock played by David Paetkau, Kevin " wordy" wordsworth played by Michael Cram, Michelangelo "spike" Scarlatti played by Sergio Di-Zio and Lewis " lou" Young played by Mark Taylor. It follows the lives of these 7 officers as they keep the peace because one moment changes Everything. This show has everything from action to heartfelt moment these are not just police officers arresting criminals, these are police talking them down from the ledge and figuring out what brought them to this point and why they are doing what they are doing. The scenery is beautiful, the writing is fantastic and the cast is amazing, I just wish it went on for longer, but as a creator to have the honor to end your show and go out with a bang when you want is an amazing honor that most shows don't get. It ran from July 11th 2008 to December 13th 2012, it had 5 seasons and 75 episodes.

In a heartbeat.

Part 11

Jules: pov  Sam decided to push my wheelchair outside in the garden they have since the weather is nice. We spent about 30 minutes outside before heading back inside to my room. Nurse fisher hooked me back up to the monitors. 

Sam: pov Jules looks sleepy, I tell her to take a nap while I talk to nat on the phone and stop to pick up a few things.  The conversation with nat is short. I just wanted to let her know how Jules is doing. She is going to be helping me with Jules when I go back to work.  On the way to the store, I notice a car accident up ahead that doesn't look too bad. I'm not sure if the police have been notified. I call it in letting them know I'm off duty. I make my way over to the accident to check on the people in the cars. They both aren't that injured, I make the choice to call for a tow truck. I quickly take  pictures and get their statements about the accident, another police car has shown up to help with the accident scene. 

Officer Grady: pov I notice a man on scene talking with the people from the accident the cars are off to the side of the road. He must be the off duty officer dispatch mentioned. Hi I'm officer Grady you are.

Sam: pov Constable Sam Braddock of the SRU, I didn't see the accident. I arrived on scene after I was headed to the store to pick up a few things. 

Officer Grady: pov hey Sam I heard about what happened to your team in that warehouse, are they all okay. 

Sam: pov Spike and Leah got released first, Jules is still in the ER she stopped breathing during it all they think it's because she is so small and the dose of anesthesia was for a man not a small woman. She is doing so much better breathing on her own. 

Officer Grady: pov glad to hear thanks for helping out with the accident. 

Sam: pov at the store I park in a nearby parking space and head in I only need a few things. I put some bananas, jello cups and apple sauce for Jules and different flavors of some electrolyte drinks in the cart. I then grab myself some stuff to snack on and drink, after paying to head back to my car. The vending machines are so expensive at the hospital. Since Jules is going to be taking it easy for a bit. I'm driving back to the hospital and I notice a craft store down the road. Let's see if I can find her some type of DIY project. The parking lot is full so I park further out, inside the store I decide to ask the employee for help.

Ben Crafty canada employee: pov Hi is there anything i can I help you find.

Sam: pov actually there is, my partner Jules Callaghan is in the ER. We're police officers and I was looking for some type of DIY craft since she loves that stuff. I helped her renovate her house a few years back when we were first dating, the first time. 

Ben Crafty canada employee: pov first time. 

Sam: pov yeah it's a long story, we started dating which was against the rules then she got shot so we agreed to break up before she returned to work then about a year or 2 later me and Jules decided we still had feelings for each other and have been together since. 

Ben Crafty canada employee: pov so police officers must be a hard job. 

Sam: pov This job is hard and scary I thought her being shot was tough thankfully it was a through and through, then she was exposed to anthrax and got a piece of shrapnel in an artery in her arm and almost bleed to death now she's in the ER for something that happened on a call she technically overdosed on some type of anesthesia that came through the vents all because a person wanted revenge on the police. 

Ben Crafty canada employee: pov I hope she is okay.

Sam: pov she is doing better might be released soon. 

Ben Crafty canada employee: pov that's good to hear. If you're looking for something DIY we have these kits where you can build little scenes like a living room and other places. 

Sam: pov that sounds cool I think I will get her a few after paying. I decide to stop for some dinner on the way back to the hospital, Jules still isn't allowed outside food yet. 

Jules Callaghan: pov i just woke up from a nap, it looks like Sam is back from the store. He explains to me how he had to pull over and help out with an accident. He also got a few snacks while he was out and something special for me at the craft store.  Oh they're so cute, Sam says it's some type of DIY kit where you build different scenes. 

Sam: pov has the Dr been by since i’ve been gone. 

Jules Callaghan: pov don't know i've been asleep this whole time.

Nurse fisher: pov hey Jules got to see you up you were asleep when I checked on you before. 

Jules Callaghan: pov don't know how I slept through that I'm a light sleeper.  

Nurse fisher: pov I guess your body needed the sleep, I quickly check her vitals then ask what she would like for dinner from the choices I have for her, soon she will be able to eat anything she wants right now she has to be careful what she eats because it might not agree with her stomach. 

Jules Callaghan: pov when can I be released. 

Nurse fisher: pov that is up to your Dr. How about some soup? It says you can have some. 

Jules Callaghan: pov that actually sounds great. 

Nurse fisher: pov I will be back in a bit with your soup, would you like an ice pop while you wait.

Jules Callaghan: pov sure that would be nice pink please. To be continued.  ………..

Part 10

Jules: pov Nurse fisher brought me some apple sauce, jello and a banana for lunch. Greg is updating us on the case, Donna and Troy are going to question the guy again at the police station. When they questioned him originally I wasn't doing so good so his charges were higher. He is getting charged with. Attempted murder of a police officer, assault on a police officer, injury to a police officer, causing harm to a police officer, and a few other charges.

Ed: pov I'm so glad Jules is doing better, I brought subs for everyone and mini bags of chips with water. We go back to work tomorrow, Sam might not be coming in depending on how Jules is doing tomorrow. Hey wordy, remember that hot call we had where this couple dined and dashed then stole a ring and gun from a jewelry store then robbed a pharmacy and we thought the woman was on drugs.

Wordy: pov yeah definitely a rough call even though no one got hurt.

Leah: pov why was it such a bad call if you don't mind me asking.

Jules: pov well for starters the woman was dying, I think it was cfj or something her and her husband did all that because they wanted one more special moment together before taking their lives with morphine.

Leah: pov oh wow that must have been hard to watch. Wait, Wordy said no one got hurt.

Greg: pov yeah Sam is a great shot with the less lethal weapon, shot the syringe out of her hand. The judge let them stay together until she passed.

Leah: pov so when do you get out of here Jules.

Sam: pov the Dr hasn't told us yet. But I can tell you Jules isn't too happy being in the hospital.

Ed: pov well Jules then you have to stop getting hurt.

Jules: pov excuse me Ed but that time I got shot it was because a guy was obsessed with you, so it wasn't my fault or yours. The anthrax was an accident. I had no idea the woman hostage would pick up the gun in a lab full of hazardous stuff..

Spike: pov me, sam and Raf got trapped in a building with a bomb, which wasn't fun.

Sam: pov hey I got a concussion from that. Thankfully you disarmed the bomb. Jules was definitely worried about me being trapped.

Jules: pov I was worried about all 3 of you.

Greg: pov come on I knew you were together, plus you can't forget I caught you together, I went to Jules’s house to tell her she was nominated for the female law enforcement of the year award and there was Sam coming down the steps asking what Jules wanted for breakfast.

Ed: pov that's how you found out, I remember you saying something before the lab call about knowing for a while. I didn't realize that was how you found out I found out because you too left your com links on talking about hypothetical honeymoons that's why Greg couldn't be on the call.

Sam: pov I had no idea that was the reason.

Ed: pov yep Toth was really angry about it.

Jules: pov well he is the reason we got back together.

Leah: pov remember the guy who kidnapped a girl and we thought it was the boyfriend or someone creep. Then it turned out he thought it was his missing daughter. How sad.

Spike: pov what about Jules jumping off the side of a building to save a girl who wanted to jump, Changed her mind then slipped.

Jules: pov hey It wasn't just any building it was the mall plus i was harnessed and I saved her life.

Sam: pov yes you did but you also scared the crap out of me it was a long few seconds before we knew you were okay.

Leah: pov were you injured.

Jules: pov no, just an ugly bruise from hitting the side of the building.

Sam: pov it looks like a burnt double bacon cheese burger. She also had a kid with Stockholm syndrome point a gun at her. She used me as a human shield.

Jules: pov hey it's not my fault you're taller than me. Poor wordy was always getting shot in the vest. He was definitely a bullet magnet.

Wordy: pov i can agree with that and Spike is the bomb magnet.

Spike: pov so is Sam, a guy was holding him hostage in the airport while holding a grenade.

Sam: pov that was different, the guy kidnapped me.

Greg: pov yeah like the guy at maple leaf stadium captured spike.

Sam: pov my sister also got captured with Spike that one time. I still can't believe you dated her. It's just she is my little sister and you are a close friend. I still find it a little weird. My sister almost blew my relationship with Jules, I had to talk to her about not telling people we are dating. It was before she started to date Spike.

Wordy: pov I hope you enjoy the stuff I brought, the girls thought you would like to borrow it while you are in the hospital. I should get going, my lunch break is almost over.

Ed: pov I should get going also, I promised to watch Izzy while Sophie gets some cooking done.

Greg: pov come on spike and Leah let's get going, Jules needs her rest plus I want to get you both home so you can rest since we have work tomorrow.

Sam : pov everyone has left, it's just me and Jules in the room. Nurse fisher is checking her vitals which look good. I ask if Jules can leave the room.

Nurse fisher: pov she is not in quarantine so I don't see why not, she will have to use a wheelchair though as a precaution.

Sam: pov that shouldn't be a problem, I think she will just be happy to be out of the room.

Nurse fisher: pov there is an activity room down the hall If you are interested. To be continued. ………….

A special Flashpoint fan fiction

In a heartbeat.

Part 1

Spike: pov i arrive early for our workouts and head to the looker room to get dressed in my uniform all the guys from team one are already here. I see Jules and Leah leaving the woman's room in their uniforms as we head to the briefing room to go over the plans for today. Greg got us all coffee since everyone already ate. Looks like we are doing drills in our uniforms today.

Leah: pov after running around a bit in our uniforms, we practice some negotiation drills, then head inside for a water break. Thankfully it's not too hot outside.

Winnie: pov hot call team one gear up hostage situation at an abandoned warehouse, 911 caller says he saw 2 men entered the warehouse and the one had a gun pointed at the other guy.

Greg: pov we quickly get our gear and load the suv. Winnie gave us the address and as much info as she can get. The subject is a tall man about 6ft white average weight with short black hair. The other guy is skinny, a little shorter and also white with long brown hair. Not much to go on, the caller didn't leave his name or number. I will take Spike with me, Ed You can take Leah in your car, Jules can ride with Sam.

Jules: pov Sam how about after shift we order takeout and watch a movie have a nice quiet evening together. There's that new sushi place that opened near us and they do deliver.

Sam: pov sounds good to me.

Ed: pov Greg, Spike found floor plans for the warehouse wow it's big, way to many exits. We don't know where the hostage is so we will have to enter the Building and clear it. How about you and Leah enter through the back, Sam and Jules through the right side, me and Spike can go through the left side and 2 other officers can go through the front. Once the building is clear and we have a visual of the hostage situation then we can get into position. All of us grab our guns from the car.

Jules: pov me and Sam run towards the door stealthfully with our guns drawn, it's pitch black inside so I can't see anything thankfully our guns have flashlights attached to them. Sam holds the door open for me. It looks like it leads to another room, I can see a door on the other side. Which Sam is having trouble opening. Maybe it is stuck or has to be pushed instead of pulled. Hey Greg we have a door in front of us that Sam is trying to open should we go through it once it's open. He says yes if we can. I immediately feel sleepy like I can't stay awake, I manage to tell Sam I don't feel good. I can hear the door finally open before everything starts going black.

Sam: pov one second Jules is telling me she doesn't feel good next thing I know I'm catching her as she faints. I definitely feel sleepy. I grab Jules and carry her out of the building while telling the others to get out now, something is wrong. Thankfully we have medics on standby who can look at her, she isn't breathing.

Greg: pov I can hear Jules saying she doesn't feel well and Sam shouting officer down, and to get out of the building. I'm starting to feel a little sleepy. I grab Leah and help her get out of the building. I can hear Ed and Sam shouting something that doesn't sound good either.

Sam: pov I start CPR on Jules until the medic who turns out to be Steve can take over CPR on her. Come on Jules, stay with me. The other medic who is a woman has me bags her airway as it's called while she starts an IV on Jules for fluids to flush whatever it is out. She says it looks like an OD of some kind, and administrator's narcan. I hear Steve say she's back, let's switch her to the oxygen mask. They hook her up to some monitors, Jules is still unconscious, Steve is shining a light in her eyes to check her pupils and to see if she can follow it.

Greg: pov Once the sleepy feeling leaves I think i’ll be fine. Leah looks unconscious, I'm making sure she is okay.

Steve: pov I'm not sure if she can breathe on her own without the oxygen mask. I ask Sam what happened and he says he isn't sure just that Jules said she wasn't feeling well and fainted.

Ed: pov spike doesn't look so good either barely conscious, more medics should be arriving on scene soon a medic named Carlos appears and puts an oxygen mask on spike to help him breathe better an iv is inserted into his arm. I wonder how Jules is doing because it doesn't sound too good. I hear words like not breathing, narcan and she's back. Isn't narcan for drug overdoses. Carlos is getting ready to load Spike into the ambulance. Hey Greg I'm riding with Spike to the ER. He is barely conscious and out of it, the medics also want to check me out.

Greg: pov thanks to Sam's warning we get out of the building quickly, Leah doesn't seem to be doing okay either she is unconscious. An EMT named O'Brian puts an oxygen mask on Leah's face and inserts an IV into her arm, taping it in place. He is getting ready to load her into an ambulance. Hey Ed I'm riding with Leah because the medic wants to check me out also as a precaution.

Sam: pov Greg ask me over the com link how i am, I tell him I'm fine, I definitely felt sleepy after Jules said she didn't feel good. Greg mentions he did too, could we have been drugged. I hear Ed say probably it makes sense. To be continued. ….
