I actually did cry at that opening tbh
it’s definitely very emotional and beautiful to say the least.
I cry really easily in terms of like people being angry at me or me being frustrated but with media I have to have like a build up (which is why movies make me cry somewhat often but not like super often).
KH has only made me officially shed a tear after Sora had the flashbacks of Aqua in KH3D and then it led up into the “I know the Keyblade didn’t choose me and I don’t care” speech. The music of that scene is also really powerful too so that added to it.
So like I can get teary eyed for things easily (like I did for this opening) but it takes quite a bit to actually make me cry lol. And even though I like it, I still think the -Ray of Hope- remix is a little too bubbly for the darker moments of the opening? but it is great for all the other parts so like I can’t complain too much I guess.
