Hi, I'm Sora. 21+ (and my blog is reflective of that), nonbinary, and demisexual. Any pronouns are fine tbh.
I would say I'm most well known for my writing. I write a lot of Noragami, but occasionally Kingdom Hearts and Fruits Basket. I post both on AO3 and Fanfiction.net
I also love cosplaying! Wigs are my specialty.
Instagram is where you'll find a lot of my convention shenanigans and progress photos (and honestly a lot of pictures of my cat, Salem).
Please consider donating to my GoFundMe to help me move into a 1st story apartment if you can! I have a lot of ongoing health problems that make living in a 2nd story apartment really difficult; you can see more details in on the donation page itself.
Hi, my name is Brooke and I've been recently diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachy… Brooke Hellier needs your support for Help Brooke Mo
Long time no update!
My apologies for that, my health kept taking more and more twists and turns. As of February, I am diagnosed with dermatomyositis in combination with my original diagnosis of POTS. In short, dermatomyositis is a disease where your immune system begins to attack your muscles. It also often presents with a painful skin rash but I, so far, have been lucky enough to not have that. One of the main symptoms of it is ironically struggling with stairs, who would have guessed?
While my health continued to decline before my diagnosis, I unfortunately did have to dip into my funds here in order to keep my current housing and to pay some of the rising medical debt. I missed a fair amount of work due to pain and other symptoms that I experienced as I went through a few different medications. Thankfully, I was eventually able to work remotely and that has helped the situation.
The other apartments I mentioned in the last post unfortunately never returned my phone calls once I was looking to sign a lease. I ended up signing a 6 month lease to stay in my current apartment out of necessity.
But in more positive news, I have been approved for a low income and ADA compliant apartment!!!
The catch is that it is across the state, closer to the coast. This means the distance I have to move is much greater (about 3 and a half hours) and therefore the costs are going to be higher than I originally anticipated.
I know you guys have already done so much and that budgets are really tight for everyone these days. I'm going to do my best to sell things that I think will be a boost towards helping the move, but that's about all I can do. So I'm once again reaching out for help if you can spare it. Or if you can just share and spread the word, that's fine too.
The most relatable lyrics; Forever Without You by Evanescence
Maybe it’s sad I still relate to songs that remind me of a relationship that’s been over for a decade now but I haven’t been able to date anyone seriously because of trauma(tm) but yeah
I’m not done with my first listening of the whole album yet but… the new Evanescence album is good musically but isn’t really hitting lyrically? I feel like it’s a bit too direct I guess even though I relate to them. It’s probably one of those albums that will grow on me the more I listen to it.
Rapture is my favorite so far. I just started Self Destruct which also sounds promising.
