Part 1 of my 7-part draw-the-members-of-my-WIP is complete. Everyone, please say hello to the hero of the Dawnstrider Saga, Nicholas Ashcroft, the Champion of the Sun God, the Paragon of the Rising Sun, and--of course--the Dawnstrider. Though younger than most of his companions, Nick is a tried and true adventurer and leader, wielder of the holy sword known as Dawn’s Radiance and bearer of the Shield of the Sun’s Champion.

This song's been playing nonstop lately. Somehow it helps me come to terms with the coming of autumn and deal with the feeling of loss associated with the end of summer. Autumn is beautiful to me. Beautiful as sorrow or a tragic ending can be.
