This song's been playing nonstop lately. Somehow it helps me come to terms with the coming of autumn and deal with the feeling of loss associated with the end of summer. Autumn is beautiful to me. Beautiful as sorrow or a tragic ending can be.

I’m standing on the edge of a thick forest. The path fades into the mist. I know my dreams await on the other side. But I’m afraid. Afraid I’ll trip, lose my way. Afraid of the uncertainty. What dangers lurk in the shadows? What if I’ll end up in a void with no place to go? I guess that’s a risk worth taking since without dreams the world around will shatter anyways. One step at the time the path will reveal itself. Truth is, I’ve been on this path for ages. And every day I have to face the same decision. Every day I take another first step into the unknown. So here goes nothing.
