Helloooo! Yesterday was insane, man!! Day Two of the Orlando Adventure was the day of forgetting all the things!! xD We left the hotel around 9 am-ish or so and got to Epcot super pumped for the day ahead. We went on a few rides, Spaceship Earth first since it's a tradition for our family, and then of course my favorite ride, Journey Into Imagination with Figment. We tried to be funny on Spaceship Earth & wear our sunglasses & make super serious faces for the picture they take of you, but there must've been too much of a glare from our lenses or something because they used cartoon faces instead of our own during the little video at the end - which was super disappointing, especially since I only barely managed to get my sunglasses on at the last second and felt so accomplished for doing so xD After going on Ellen's Energy Adventure, we took the monorail to Magic Kingdom. At this point, I told Dad I was amazed at how comfortable my new crochet flip flops were, and that I was amazed at how not-blistered my feet felt. Well I seriously spoke too soon, let me tell you :') At Magic Kingdom, we went on a couple things - Pirates of the Caribbean & Haunted Mansion - and then went to that Pinocchio restaurant in Fantasyland and had mac & cheese and apple slices for lunch (yeah, we actually both ordered kids meals) (it was awesome). We took the bus to Hollywood Studios, and once I got off my feet started to hurt. I was like, 'nah, this is fine. I'll be fine!'. But the pain just kept getting worse until, by the end of the day, I had so many blisters and my feet were so swollen I was practically limping :') In fact, my feet are so messed up that I'm actually taking today off from Disney & going Thursday instead of today, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Which I'm kinda sad about, but I'll be okay. Anyway, Hollywood Studios is my second favorite park! We explored the Star Wars Launch Bay for the first time and it was so cool! Not only did they have loads of props & replica props, but they also had Jawas all over the place! Dad and I got pictures with them. They were so cute c: After that, we went on Star Tours, which I can usually completely handle but the version we were on actually made me pretty queasy! xD But FINN WAS ON IT!!!!! And BB-8!!! And JAKKU!! So that made up for it! As we were leaving the ride, I realized I didn't have my phone, and Dad realized the same thing (thus begins the start of the 'forgetting all the things' portion of our adventure), so we went back and after the next ride was out, the cast members found our phones. Thank goodness! I'd put mine in the little under-the-seat thing like an idiot & had forgotten it, while Dad's had actually flown out of his pocket! We looked around the gift shop & then went over to Toy Story Midway Mania, where we had a fastpass and got on practically immediately. I almost won, but then Dad picked up some extra points right at the end. Noooooo! xD After going on The Great Movie Ride, we got some churros and they were so flipping good man💛 We then took the bus back to Magic Kingdom. First, we went on the PeopleMover, then I waited for Dad in the gift shop as he went on Space Mountain. We tried to go on Pirates again once he was out, but when we got over there they'd temporarily closed it for maintenance or something, so that was a bummer. We decided it was probably a good time for us to head back to Epcot for our dinner reservation, so we hopped on the monorail again. Our dinner reservation was at the restaurant in the Mexico Pavillion, San Angel Inn. It's so gorgeous in there, but after looking at the menu (which we seriously should have done before our trip lol), Dad and I realized that with the combination of our crazy allergies & just general pickiness, there was no way we were going to eat anything on the menu - except the caramel ice cream, of course. So yes. At 8:15 in the evening, Dad and I were eating caramel ice cream, without any previous dinner xD BUT DUDE - THAT ICE CREAM WAS AMAZING. It tasted like it was homemade, and maybe it was! I don't know if it really was, but AHHHHH it was so good! We decided to go on the Mexico ride after that, and we had the entire boat all to ourselves xD We also decided not to stay for Illuminations since we needed to find a Walmart & get some food, so we started heading back to our car once we got off the ride. We got all the way back to Spaceship Earth before Dad realized - he'd forgotten his bag at the restaurant. We walked allllllllll the way back to Mexico & thankfully they had our bag (my camera was in it as well as some stuff I'd bought at the figment gift shop). We went to a little food cart and bought a croissant bc I wanted something to balance out all the sugar (I'm hypoglycemic) and, with the fireworks blowing up behind us, we finally walked/limped back to the car. The Walmart we went to was nuts, and by then I was barely able to walk because of my feet, so that was an adventure. But we found all the food we wanted! We got back to the hotel around 10. In the parking lot, I asked Dad if he had our room key - bc I didn't want us to forget another thing - and he said it was in his pocket. A minute later, as the elevator traveled up to our floor, Dad suddenly started laughing. "I forgot the room key in the car," he announced, and we both simultaneously lost it xD I sat outside our room as he ran back out to the car, and once he came back & let us in I threw off my stupid shoes and put blister bandaids all over my feet. We called Mom & then went to bed, and now here we are. I slept a lot better last night - probably because I was so tired. Dad is at his conference now (that's why we're here - he has this conference thing for work and let me come along & have an adventure). I wish I had the energy/foot comfortable-ness to go back today, but I just really need that day off. Maybe I'll watch some movies. We'll see ^-^ Oh yeah - one more thing. Dad wore one of his Pearl Jam shirts yesterday, this blue one with an avocado on it (it's one of their album covers) and seriously no less than nine people commented on it, ranging from "I like your shirt" to "HE LIKES GUACAMOLE!!!! *insane laughter*". So many people commented on it, I've decided it's a magic shirt. OKAY THE END
