What is this au about?

Originally, the au was going to be a Starcaller’s au, but later (after getting hit with inspo by a storm) changed into an au for Daybreak 2/Remisted itself. Anyways, this au is where instead of the Mist kidnapping people into playing a game of cat and mouse, the entire world was destroyed by a storm with unknown origins to those who succumbed to the destruction. After what’s considered doomsday, a ring was formed around earth created by the remnants of the world mixed with magical elements as the ring was created to keep a mere threat at bay. Surprisingly, there were a few people that went missing before the earth was destroyed where later they would reside on the ring giving them a role of keeping the threats or threat in check.

If anyone remembers Daybreak on netflix, I need an AU with the Party in that universe. Apocalypse, zombies (kinda), bunch of teens trying to survive and creating their own factions based on the cliques at school, all that in a modern setting with satellite-based communication still working.

The kids and teens would ROCK this setting. We have the populars terrorizing everyone, we have characters running from their past and using the apocalypse to start over, a lot of found family, grievances from before the apocalypse being aggravated by the current situation, and loners having the time of their lives. And in the middle of it all, someone trying to navigate this whole desolate wasteland to find their loved one.

I'm imagining Dustin in the gamer faction, Lucas as the guy who's using the apocalypse to live his samurai dreams, Erica as the middle schooler who got every adult to do whatever she wanted, Chrissy and Jason in the cheer and jocks faction, Eddie as a travelling merchant of sorts that is neither accepted nor rejected by most factions because he finds useful things to trade, Max using her skateboard as a shield, King Steve as leader of the Preps, Robin in the Band faction, and El as someone running from the faction of people who have actual superpowers (not in the show, but it would be fun to add) that Kali and Henry are a part of.

I haven't watched the show in forever, but I liked the casual worldbuilding of it before it got cancelled. It would be fun to throw the characters in and see what happens, hehe.

(Also, not assigning ships cuz it's anyone's game, really. But the main trio being Lucas, Max and Erica would be really fun - the samurai, the zoomer, and the little girl that was a nightmare for the zoomer to babysit. Them finding El and her having trouble communicating with them but saving them from the "zombies" would parallel the show pretty nicely)

1. Daiki was a product of a wild wolf and an owner of a japanese trading toy company. He was born albino and was considered cursed for it. While the wife of the owner was aware of her status as a bastard, he was kept around and raised as a daughter regardless so she can marry a man into the business.

He was kept unaware of his wolf nature til she reaches the age of 14 years old. From then on, he's chained every month during the full moon.

2. The white wolf is captured. The Suzuki corporation compensates the associated hunters to keep quiet on the nature of the daughter and heiress of the Suzuki corporation. Daisuki Suzuki was sent to a private werewolf rehab without word to the public

3. While in rehab discord is allowed to be as comfortable as possible. She wears nothing but nightgowns and oversized shirts. He wears a mask (muzzle) on his own volition because he feels like it makes her and other people around her safe. Her hair is cut.

AO3 is in charge of teaching him how to deal with his wolfish nature He's kind... kind is good.

4. After Daisuke gains control of his wolfish nature, he returns to society as a man, leave the attack of the white wolf behind. While out in public, she masks hard and doesn't appear to have visible emotions outside of what is good for the current social situation.
