H1Z1 Becoming Two Seperate Games & Confirmed for Consoles
Today Daybreak Studios announced that their game H1Z1 will become two separate games on February 17th.
One half will be called H1Z1: King of the Hill. This one will be focused on the competitive shooting aspect of the game. It is primarily focused the competitive “fight-to-the-death” game modes. They also announced that this half would becoming off of Early access on Steam and coming to Xbox One and PS4 sometime mid-2016.
The other half is H1Z1: Just Survive. The focus is in the title. You exist in the open world and focus on surviving, building bases and killing zombies. The classic H1Z1 experience. This half has no release date for consoles.
“Last year, we started to notice new player trends emerging – both the initial Survival game and Battle Royale game mode now have strong populations who almost exclusively play one or the other,” said Daybreak in their announcement.
If you have purchased H1Z1 on or before February 16th then you get both versions when they are released. If you want to purchase them after they are $20 each. Game On!
Though only being available through Steam Early Access, the popular zombie MMO title, H1Z1, has officially sold more than one million copies on Steam since the game’s launch back in January. President Of Daybreak Studios, John Smedley, announced the news via Twitter, revealing the game’s success despite still being in an incomplete state of development. We [...] #gaming #games
