Instead of donating our money to questionable religious organizations, we decided to go back to giving directly to the homeless people in San Diego. Homelessness has always been an issue very personal to me and even moreso now that we have gone through it with three kids recently. ⠀⠀⠀ San Diego has one of the highest homeless populations in the country because the weather isn't unbearably cold outdoors in the winter. Still, it gets cold at night and used blankets & warm gear would go a long way to help people who don't have it. Old backpacks and tote bags for the supplies REALLY helps.
