I have panick attacks and hate it when they make fun of it here. But as you said, not only that. With everything else. Some take cutting as a joke. OMG, i JUST CUT MYSELF as if its as normal as going to the restroom.
it's hard to know who is taking it as a joke, i mean, i sometimes talk about it but i know that i'd never talk about it in a mocking way or just to be like 'oOo luk i cut luk how d4maged i am ;((' and some people i follow talk about it openly but wouldn't do that either. and then out of nowhere some jackass pops up being all jokey about it. and sorry about your panic attacks, it's bad enough to have them without people making them out to be no big deal.

idk man, like, everyone here talks about cutting, panick attacks, eating disorders, depression and every other disease as its nothing. :
i don't really care if they talk about it like that as long as they don't make fun of it, i mean some people deal with issues by acting like it's no big deal. i mean, i don't have panic attacks so i can't really take this personally but a lot of people do and to be all like 'lol i think i just had a panic attack, haha how freaky' is just insulting and dumb. especially when the said 'panic attack' lasted for a second and was clearly not a panic attack

i assume it's people who don't know what panic attacks are yet want to be all cool and mysterious so they call a mood swing or a bit of a panic over something a panic attack. seriously, it's a PANIC ATTACK, the name pretty much sums up how funny it is
