Edmonton officially joins the holiday season by lighting up downtown!  Every year, this annual event celebrates the lighting of the square in downtown Edmonton with entertainers and vendors throughout the square.  Three of our artists will join the festivities by singing on the big stage!   This is normally a very well attended event and is funded by the Downtown Business Association.

Daylin Jorgensen is back on YouTube on fire.  She delivers the awesome cover from Miranda Lambert entitled Baggage Claim.  And dad, Ray, shoots tonnes of footage from the Edmonton International so that we can put together this cool video.  Even with the neat video in front of your eyes, be sure to turn on your ears and listen to how great Daylin is with her vocals and guitar.  Enjoy!

TIME: 2 PM

The Miss Rodeo Canada Pageant is awarded to a participant with a reward of one of the richest experiences of their life.  The award is given to a woman that can demonstrate horsemanship, public speaking, personal interview skill, rodeo knowledge and overall personality/poise/maturity.  Brendan, Danielle, Daylin and Payton join Brett Kissel on the West Edmonton Mall stage to perform as entertainers in this annual pageant.  This is one event that occurs over the course of the week.  Great work everyone!

HAITI FUNDRAISER

TIME: 3 PM (entertainment from 4 - 5 PM and 7 - 10 PM)

The small country of Haiti is still struggling to rebuild after terrible storms ripped through their country and they require significant help in reforming their infrastructure.  Six of our artists head out to support this event at Woodvale Community Hall.  And Sean Sonego will open for Souljha Fyah on this evening of support and compassion.

The communities within Northeast Edmonton represent many of our cities high-needs neighborhoods.  For more than 40 years, the Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast has focused on creating a positive environment for these children and families.  The Champion for Children event will assist in providing programs, projects and facilities which make a difference in the lives of children, youth and family within our city.  Daylin is the entertainer on this evening!  Great work Daylin!  And her sister, Kierah, also delivers the grace on this evening!

Eight of our artists head to the Leduc Recreation Centre to perform on the family stage during the Pics and Sticks & Taste of Leduc events supporting local Leduc charities.  It will be a fun filled afternoon of music as our artists team together to fill the LRC with a wide variety of tunes to keep all of the families entertained.

BRENDAN GUY AND DAYLIN JORGENSEN PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE:                END OF LIFE CARE 2011 KIDNEY CARE CONFERENCE CHATEAU LOUIS HOTEL                AND CONFERENCE CENTRE 11727 KINGSWAY AVENUE EDMONTON, AB SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23 TIME: NOON Brendan and Daylin were honored to perform for the annual conference on behalf of the Kidney Foundation of Canada.  After performing at the Shabam Feer Festival that many of us were a part of, Brendan and Daylin both performed sets over the lunch hour today during the break of the conference.  Quite a power packed pair of artists to entertain!  Great work you two!

ASIM CHIN, BRENDAN GUY, DANIELLE LOWE,    DAYLIN JORGENSEN, HAILEY MILLS,    MIEKE MALIGNE, PAYTON KLASSEN,    SEAN SONEGO CIBC RUN FOR THE CURE CANADIAN BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL SQUARE EDMONTON, AB SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2011 TIME: 8 AM - NOON 8 of our artists head out to the amazing event, the CIBC Run for the Cure.  10,000 people descend upon Churchill Square to walk or run for a future without breast cancer.  Payton will open this special day with the Run For The Cure anthem, I Run For Life.  And Danielle will close the day with Martina McBride's I'm Gonna Love You Through It.  Even if you are not part of the event, you should come down and be a part of this incredible morning that always raises over a million dollars towards cancer research.
