Helene Schjerfbeck — Girl with Blonde Hair (1916)
Girl with Blonde Hair depicts the gentle, flowing "mature style" of Schjerfbeck's later works. Schjerfbeck, a Finnish painter who lived and painted all throughout Europe in her lifetime, varied her style dramatically through the years. She is also known for her French plein-air styled works.
Note: I had to compress this terribly to fit on Tumblr. A super high res image can be found on the Staedelmuseum digital collection. The Staedel also owns the physical painting, which is on view on the first floor of their modern art collection. 🖼

01.14.2022 // Least Relatable Character
I don't usually read thrillers, so it was a nice change of pace to read this book. Just finished it yesterday and can safely say both characters are thoroughly unrelatable to me (though the first place prize still goes to Hum from Lolita, read last year.)
