What a day.
The Speech Contest was exactly what I thought it would be: disorganized and chaotic with a splash of finesse thrown into the mix.
The BPI index was extremely high today, so my little cough from the morning turned into a yellowish-brown, phlegmatic sore throat in under 12 hours.
I am so unhappy with my body right now.
But the school nurse gave me some medicine and I took some Benadryl to help me sleep, which is finally kicking in now.
On the plus side, writing a letter to myself and my feelings about X helped last night. Sure, my session with my therapist is making me question everything I thought I knew about X.
But maybe that’s a good thing. Because if I’m asking myself questions and evaluating my feelings, I’m spending less time actually missing X and wanting her back on some level.
So I guess... progress?
Fuck it, I’m too sick and sleepy to care. I hope I can get through Halloween without coughing up my soul in the process.
