personally, i didnt like daywalker that much on a first listen but then tbh i read the lyrics and mgk's first verse is kinda my intrusive thoughts process when im pissed (SOMEONE TALKING WITH A MOUTH FULL OF TEETH I WANT TO BREAK- THIS) And after learning the backstory, that he had this altercation at a stoplight after leaving his therapy session very much remi'ds me how shitty i feel when after just leaving therapy i still cant control myself/behave badly, get angry or frustrated and just 'need someone to blame'
so yeah it's a decent song. corpses voice is AMAZING as always. it's not something that shook me from first listen (that would be MISS YOU! and another one he's got; it's pretty short and called something like: CORPSE- my very real collab with 50 cent. now thAt one. that makes me feel some type of way) but i think what actually made it matter a lot more to me was the meaning& lyrics. still a fuckin bop tho.
