TW: Nothing I’m pretty sure, it’s just Vargas being a little confused but very into reader
*Takes place before the fourth movie as Vargas is only dreaming about reader
He was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
The golden streaks in his hair glistened in the light and his eyes shined just as bright as the sun itself. His smile was wide and radiant and made others want to smile too.
Then, of course, there was the way he looked at Vargas. So full of love and adoration it was unlike how anyone else had ever looked at Vargas.
In this dream it looked like the two boys were on the beach together. It was all from Vargas' point of view like the other dreams. And like the other dreams the daywalker was the only thing in focus. The background being blurry and unimportant.
Not like Vargas wanted to look at the background anyways. He was the only thing that mattered to Vargas.
He was laying next to Vargas, propped up on one elbow and the other hand outstretched. It was intertwined with Vargas' hand. Vargas swore he could feel the warmth from the other boy's hand despite it being a dream.
It was odd. Vargas didn't understand why he was dreaming of a daywalker or why, despite never meeting him, Vargas was so enamored by the daywalker. Or how lifelike the dreams always felt. It almost was like Vargas was actually living them.
It didn't make sense at all.
But, Vargas wasn't too worried about that. Especially not when these dreams filled him with peace and joy. Vargas was more worried about if the daywalker boy was real or not. If he was real, was Vargas supposed to find him? How would Vargas even find him?
A group of vampires were supposed to leave Shadyside with the Eldress and go to an orchard that had more blood fruit for them. Vargas had a feeling this trip would answer at least of a few questions about the dream boy.
At least Vargas hoped it would. He needed to learn more about the boy from his dreams.
