Dazzle Universe; Palia Update!

My cool mom is an awesome gamer but for the last 20 years it's actually been really hard to play anything that isn't 2D graphics (3D gives her extreme nausea), she's a huge farming game fan from back in the Harvest Moon for GameCube days, we're both Stardew Valley nerds and we've also tried many other FarmSims in the search for something that can be played Co-Op.

But i convinced her to give Palia a try, turned the camera and aim sensitivity all the way down, and she's really enjoying it! She can't use the chat because she's on a PS5, and the keyboard still confuses me, a mainly Switch player, but she also gets nicer graphics and faster load times, so I'm okay with letting her use it.

My mom is undecided who she's romancing though, while I'm currently dating Jel and Jina and I'm probably going to try at least Hassian as well. Maybe Reth too? I'm so curious what their romantic dialogue is like!

If anyone sees a Dazzle Oceanstep and a Trixie Sandstone, that's my mom and I! I'll try to post a picture later.

Dazzle Universe: Palia

It's been over 2 weeks since I started Palia, and as usual, I have ✨opinions✨

PROS: Perfect Dazzle game! Bright orange hair, pink eyes (sadly no heterochromia but the pink eyes are satisfactory,) and romance choices who are cool and interesting individuals?!

I love that there's a a oddly deep home building and decorating system, and I love fulfilling other players requested items.

CONS: I had to play on the Switch because my laptop technically isn't built for gaming and I've already maxed out the memory. The Switch version plays very slowly and makes certain things more difficult than they should be. This is mostly my fault and isn't a judgment on the developers though, I'm sure they're trying their best!

Possibly controversial opinion under the cut.

I feel like the odd one out here, but I absolutely despise people who use "gamertag" style names in a game like this, it's so immersion breaking, how do people live like that?

It's like, back when Pokemon XY came out and the people popping up on my screen had edgy Xx's and numbers in their character names, so either 1) they knew ahead of time the online features would work that way and named their mostly single player experience character like a gamertag, or 2) they always name their character like a gamertag, even in entirely single player experiences.

I swear I try not to judge people, but this is just too much for my autistic ass! I believe people should be free to do what they want, within limits, so it's not like I'm campaigning to remove gamertag people, I just want to understand why?!

Decided to join the Fields Of Mistria early access already knowing which man I was romancing.

Yeah, it's Hayden. No surprises for anyone who knows me at all.

My choice for women is between Juniper and Valen, but I'm thinking Juniper since this is going to be a Dazzle Universe game.

The Dazzle Universe so far is Fantasy Life, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Stardew Valley, SOS Pioneers Of Olive Town, Monster Hunter Stories 2, Yonder Cloud Catcher Chronicles, HM One World, The Arcana, Grow Song Of The Evertree, Harvestella, Monster Harvest, SOS A Wonderful Life, HM Winds Of Anthos, Fae Farm, and now Fields Of Mistria.

I'm always looking for games with romantic options and/or character customization that has bright orange hair and pink eyes, so feel free to recommend if you're seeing this and have any suggestions! I can play Switch, PS4/PS5, and Steam games that don't have heavy-duty, intensive systems requirement.

Okay, so I haven't posted here in a while due to seasonal illness, but I figured I'd share my OC, Dazzle, from the 5 games I've used her in.

Starting with her original universe of Fantasy Life on top! Okay, the second one is supposed to be Stardew Valley, but I used a picrew to determine what she would look like there. The other 3 are Monster Hunter Stories 2, Dragon Quest Builders 2, and Story Of Seasons Pioneers Of Olive Town.

If anyone wants to recommend other games with character customization that includes pink eyes and bright orange hair, please do! Romance and marriage features optional (I'll ship her with some characters anyway), and it has to be playable on PS3, 3DS, or Switch! Thanks in advance for the help!
