“George we shouldn’t even be here!” “Come on. What should happen?” “Well for starters I could lose my job if someone sees us!” But still he was running up the stairs to the 9th level of the Ministry of Magic. “George I’m serious wait!” But because his legs were far longer than mine he made it to the door before me and slipped in with a mischievous grin.

We were in Panem for a few years now. Every day I went back to the place in the forest to see if the portal was back but it never did. George and I lived now in Twelve. Just on my second day in this strange country I was reaped to be in the games. I wouldn’t have won them if it wasn’t for my wand. The year after me George volunteered for a 12 year old boy. Together with Haymitch Abernathy I became a mentor. George won his games as well but at some point the people, especially President Snow, would know that something was “wrong” about us. Everyone thought we had sticks with us. They didn’t understand that we used magic to safe ourselves in the arena. Then came the 74th and the 75th Hunger Games. The year when Katniss and Peeta were tributes. Everyone knew about them, about their love story but only a few knew that the love story was a fake. But if you knew Peeta, you also knew how much he loved Katniss. Katniss maybe didn’t know what she felt for Peeta but everyone else could see that she felt something for the boy with the bread.

Together with Gale and Katniss mother and sister we watched the 75th Hunger Games in their house in Victors Village. George was in the Capitol. He was there so often lately that it started to worry me. When Katniss shot the arrow into the force field the games stopped. And the next day District 12 was gone. The Capitol bombed it. Gale and I saved a few hundreds but still we lost so many people that night. __________________________

A few months later I was sitting with Katniss and Prim in the dining hall of District 13. Peeta, George, Joanna and Annie Cresta were held captive by the capitol. Every now and then we saw George and Peeta interviewed by Caesar Flickerman so at least they were still alive. While George didn’t look different at all, every time we saw Peeta he changed. The boy I met at the bakery was gone. He just wasn’t the same anymore. While we were eating lunch Caesar showed up again. Katniss and I were the first to look up when we heard the familiar voice. “Panem today were are here again with George Weasley Winner of the 73rd Hunger Games.” I couldn’t move. Every time he was on screen I just froze. “George I think a lot of people know that your former mentor Emily Miller is more than just your mentor.” At first George didn’t say anything he just seemed pissed. “So?” “Well.. aren’t you concerned about her?” “Of course I am but I know that she’s not dead. She is too smart for the capitol. Emily if you can hear this you know where to meet me.” “What is that supposed to mean?” Caesar asked and George started to grin. “There is something I wanted to tell all of Panem before.” “And what would that be?” I stood up and walked towards the screen. “The capitol bombed District 12. And then the display went black. “George..” I took my wand out of my pocket and apparated. I landed at the spot where we landed on our first day in Panem. “George!” I started to scream and I was looking around but I didn’t see him. What if they got him before he was able to escape. But then I heard the familiar sound and I turned around. George was standing in front of me. I run into him and didn’t plan on letting go anytime soon.
