And he could’ve been Kevin’s childhood friend, or at least his neighbour, whom he fell in love super slowly over the years. So despite Strexcorp’s efforts to brainwash him, Kevin still remembers DB!Carlos which is why the fuckin nerd likes Carlos so much when he gets stuck with him in the desert overworld
