#TBT time... When I was in 4th grade I saw one of my after-school program counselors looking at a manga art book that was all in Japanese. I instantly fell in love with the characters, colors and drawing style. A friend and I obsessively filled sketchbooks with our own renditions for a few years until Dragon Ball Z ultimate exploded onto the US. As I grew, I delved deeper into the show and it's history, discovering Dragon Ball and GT (and more of Akira Toriyama's incredible work). Fast forward to 2017. At almost 30, as a professional artist, I've taken that appreciation to it's final form.
