Bio (Bruce Sherfield)

Bruce Sherfield is an American actor born in Nashville, Tennessee. Known filmography & roles include Raphael in Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure (2012) and several portrayals in Detroit: Become Human (2018). According to the fandom wiki, which characters he plays are not explicitly mentioned in credits, but there is footage to confirm that he did the motion capture for both Adam Chapman and Andy. His appearance is said to be the model for John's character. He is not only a voice actor, but he is also listed as an artist, musician, and a spoken-word poet on several other websites.

Bio (John)

John is a GJ500 android in Detroit: Become Human. He is a security guard at the CyberLife warehouses.

Spare Parts

"John catches Markus, North, Josh and Simon stealing blue blood and biocomponents and announces he has to alert his superiors. A human guard named Mike will begin to walk over and call for John, during which Markus can either run, kill the guard, hide or grab John and hide."

Depending on the actions taken, John can deviate during this interaction, or he can end up alerting others to Jericrew's presence at the facility. He asks to come with them to Jericho, and he expresses gratitude if they agree. He shows loyalty from the start in this context, allowing Jericrew to gather as much parts and biocomponents that they could get.

He then informs them about all of the spare parts in the truck, but where you can truly see his courage shine is during the Freedom March, as tragic as this path may be. Depending on how events unfold, he can willingly sacrifice himself for Markus and the others in order for them to escape safely back to Jericho. In other paths where QTEs are more successful, he could be seen fighting, but his fate afterwards remains uncertain.

DBH Black History Month Schedule

Yesterday, I made my first post in regards to doing a DBH BHM "event," I guess you could say. Let me start by saying that this was strictly going to be something done on an individual basis to give the black characters and their respective actors/actresses more appreciation, but I am going to be releasing the plan that I have laid out for myself, just in case anyone else wants to participate. I will be tagging all of my posts on this blog as dbh bhm, so feel free to use that tag if you'd like. It's not a planned, formal event with any type of prior promotion, but all love and posts for these characters and actors/actresses will be welcomed. ❤

Day 3: Joss Douglas (Actor/Portrayal Unknown)

"Joss Douglas was born October 24, 2010.

He is a freelance field reporter who produces video reports for different news channels. In 2038, he covers the issue of deviant androids for Channel 16 and others."

His in-game appearances include both reporting outside the Ortiz residence about Carlos Ortiz's death and then later on interviewing Todd Williams (if he survived the altercation with Kara). Joss' broadcast can be seen from the Eastern Motel.

One of his most notable news coverages is when he reports on the Battle for Detroit from a helicopter.

Day 3: Jeffrey Fowler (Barry Johnson)

Actor Bio:

"Barry Johnson is an actor, known for Beyond: Two Souls (2013), Detroit: Become Human (2018) and Hamal_18 (2004). He previously appeared in Beyond: Two Souls, where he played Walter, a former school teacher turned homeless."

Character Bio:

"Captain Jeffrey Fowler is a human in Detroit: Become Human. He is in charge of the Detroit City Police Department Central station (Post 9667) and he is Hank Anderson's superior.

Pre-game

Jeffrey Fowler was born August 8, 1982.

Fowler and Hank Anderson were classmates and have known each other for a long time.

Fowler previously served in the U.S. Air Force and Army where he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant and Sergeant First Class respectively. He is highly decorated with many awards and likely retired. In 2029, he promoted Hank Anderson to the rank of lieutenant after Hank secured high-profile arrests as part of the Red Ice Task Force and being an integral part of the force.

Fowler continued to climb through ranks up to the police captain while Hank drowned in his personal problems, notably caused by his son's death."
