I completely forgot how the german dub of classic Dragonball Z is basically like an abridged series, it's absurd. They really had so much more freedom with dubbing back in the 90s, it added so much without ignoring the plot. I get why they can't do it anymore but it saddens me how kids don't get to develop their humor with dubs like this anymore, most shows are stiff and boring as hell now.

All planet Vegeta survives au are false if they have Bardock being even a somewhat functional father. The same character that forgot he had a son let alone 2?? Nah he'd be that kinda "father" that only provided DNA. Lil Kakarot run up to him on the street excited and shit and Bardock would turn to him and go "why didn't you hit me up?" to this 12 yr old. Raditz would have been over it for years constantly telling his mama to lock him out of the house when he comes sniffing around again with flowers. Raditz literally telling Gine that 'if that man's in our house I'll be out of it'. Bardock's is the type give backhanded compliments about his sons combat improvement despite he himself caping at 20,000. He's the type to call his own brain damged kid simple. He's the type to show up to every second birthday drunk with his grown ass fighting buddies. He's the type to kick his kids out their home to sleep with his baby mama. He's the type that to take them to strip clubs bc "they men now". He's the type-

also ppl look at zuko like “he got the best redemption arc ever” and i understand that logically he does have a very good redemption arc however ur overlooking everything abt Vegeta’s love for bulma and the fact that he canonically is a very goofy father
