Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and why
Hrm... I don't think I've abandoned any of the ships I've latched onto. I'm thinking so hard from other fandoms I've been in where I've shipped characters before. I think abandoning a ship and liking a ship for their eventual fallout are two different things.
It's rare for me to enjoy the romantic aspect of some character dynamic, so the ships latch onto my brain are stuck in an endless microwave spin motion.

SuperSteel 13 -> ship name I made up for Traci/ Nat/ Cir. I think I've reblogged every related post available about them on Tumblr. I've gone through desperate lengths to see discussions about them, especially Cir! However, I'm not discouraged I've got enough love for them to sustain me and my thought about their Pacific Rim AU - Solstice has been occupying my brain a lot
Kali/Kara/Thara -> this post from @/ bisupergirl talks about them a bit. Kali and Thara were friends with Kara in different continuities but I like to think that they got to be friends with each other as well. There is a pre-destroyed Krypton Young Love Drama that plays in my head about all three of them. The friend trio known for mischief and troublemaking but they get away with it because their families got a lot of influence. In my head, Kara has a crush on Thara, meanwhile Kali has been in love with Kara for a longer time, and Thara is not sure what her feelings are and isn't doing anything about this situation because she just wants to keep this friendship as is.
Hillary / Lolina -> now this one I am so sure no one ships! Hillary from Superboy 1994 and Lolina who only ever made one appearance (Adventure Comics 80 Page Giant). I just love Lolina's design and the fact that this beautiful lady is a shark herder. This is how you impress ladies Lolina's style: Step 1 - herd sharks; Step Step 2: a human girl assumed you're a normal girl who is surrounded by sharks so she tries to save you Step 3: sea adventures with your new girlfriend that your sharks really like :D !! I just think it's neat for a girl who grew up close to the ocean falls in love with a sea creature.
Natasha Irons/ Aura: Nat's an amazing engineer & mechanic. Aura is a tactically-minded, fashion-oriented woman. Nat's last name is Irons & Aura's power is bending metal to be whatever she thinks off. I just think it's a neat little fling that Fumbler Natasha deserves to have. Also! Another wlw ship of two women who are close to Kon.
Jimmy Tilton (Slither)/ Match: Just the fact both of them were seen more as a product rather than a human being by people who should've taken care of them as their caretaker. I think Jimmy could shake away Match's belief what's programmed into him is the only thing he should follow meanwhile Match uses his intellect to find a cure for Jimmy. Jimmy gets Match to treat himself like a person meanwhile Match works to figure out a cure for Jimmy's condition, so he can the live the life of a regular guy.
