Anime DRs; My experience

Back when I first found out about shifting, I instantly knew I wanted to shift to JJK. But the thing is, I'm not shifting to a 'dangerous DR' without some info. So I did what any STEM girlie who's been handed the cheatcodes to life does...

Overcomplicate the fuck out of it.

So I scripted, sooooo much to a point I would have called myself a fanfic writer because a part of me felt like I was writing stories I would never live? I remember combing through amino, reddit, tumblr, youtube just to hear someone talk about how it is to shift to an anime DR.

As someone who came from an LOA background this was a... herculean task. So I thought now that I've shifted a decent amount I'll talk about it.

I have previously mentioned my JJK dr being the reason why I even wanted to believe in shifting in the first place in one of my posts. I could have just kept on manifesting and living my CR life(I wouldn't have. You can't unknow this stuff unless its intentional) but I like to think I would have if it weren't for my fam.

I remember clinging to bits and pieces of story times from tiktokers who shifted to AOT or MHA and I just... couldn't relate? Or glean enough information from what they spoke about. LIKE HOW WAS IT DAMMIT? I didn't realize at the time, just HOW MUCH context and memory downloads, even memory recontextualizations you get from actual shifting. Like MY GOD. So yeah don't worry about it being unrealistic that its anime.

You can literally experience it however you want. It will be real. Like I SWEAR ON EVERYTHING that everything you scripted comes true. I fucked around and found out.

Before you script 'super____' anything? Please know that you will hear EVERYTHING. You WILL hear your fuckass upstairs neighbor on his fucking walking pad all damn day while he works on his standing desk. You will SMELL stuff. You will see shit you can't even put into words. So yeah... the mindset to have here is either 'lets make this an easy sandbox with increasing difficulty levels' or 'fuck it we ball'

Anyway, I wanted it to be real life looking or whatever. For example, if you see a drawing of you, you'll know its you right? Same way I scripted that I'll just know when I see my DR family, and they will look like their 2d counterpart but obviously not 2D. NOT that its impossible. I did very briefly minishift to DC, and it was animated lol. This is the superman I saw and somehow in context it was.... normal? Why wouldn't it be, I was born in that world, but you see what I mean. Weird shit might trip you up, weirder shit might sound sane.

APPARENTLY you can't find one damn pic of a superman variant without it being AI modified. UGH. So take the above one.

I actually had to take a break initially, and focus on shifting to my waiting room instead because it was just too overwhelming of a concept for me. You don't need to, but they're always an option. I shifted to JJK after shifting to my WR.

But yeah this is stuff that I wish people spoke about more in detail especially when I was in the 'despair' phase of post finding out about shifting.

Introduction to my Young Justice/DC dr

* note this dr takes place around the 2010s. Idk why this is important

CALVIN or Vincent is the youngest son of the Delaroche family. Yes the same family that runs the multi-billion dollar Delaroche Entertainment company. They’ve been around since before Americas revolution, so they’re old old money. So how did this antisocial kid used to helping write movie scripts and design sets become the golden hero known as AURION?

Well first off — he never expected this to happen. The day he was approached by the Goddess Hebe? He almost passed out. But yap yap yap yap he was blessed and granted some divine powers from the Goddess, allowing him to transform into his “alter ego” that he thoughtfully dubbed Aurion. Unfortunately, however, the media got to him first and lovingly named him Glitterbug due to how shiny and fast he was. Which was the title the first Daily Planet used in their headline, causing him to debate retiring.

mortal forms , aka the skins that gods wear to roam earth .

gods are more intangible concepts than physical beings . any corporal manifestation is willed , imagined , and something to be donned . some gods have their trademarks – golden hair , grey eyes , and more; while others may simply choose to appear as people imagine them to be , regardless of skin tone , eye and hair colour , markings on the skin , etc.

when a god chooses to appear in a mortal form , it is like wearing clothing , one that envelops the whole of the body . it isn't heavy , per se , but there is a weight to it , to wear human skin and have human features . to lift it away and reveal out true form is to lighten the soul , for lack of a better word , and become light wisps again .

when gods are themselves , they may be observed to flicker , like a hologram being interrupted . a god is of course , only perceived as they wish to be , but sometimes , you'd see them flicker in between old forms , or the different forms in which they are worshipped as . it causes no pain , and the god may barely feel it , but it is an interesting phenomenon to observe , especially with the older gods , who have lived for eons and have been known in different names and titles , and therefore different forms .

himerostis , goddess of love , rage and weapons , daughter-son of ares and aphrodite , dons their mortal form often . they are then known as rowan nightwine , a name picked out by the goddess themself when they were younger , and unlike the other gods , it is one of the only forms that the goddess has , and is often worn as the goddess wanders the earth .

in fact , the form is donned so often that the goddess themself has said that they forget how light divinity is , too used to the groundedness of a mortal form . this sentiment is frequently shared among the new gods of olympus , now that they exist in a time past ancient greece , past the time where they had more respect and responsibilities , gifting them with the freedom to roam and connect with worshippers .
