OOOOOOOO she loves, loves, LOVES talking about how she got Salsa and Smoke. Her first two kitties were at 5 years old, and she loves them to death, and she would always— I mean ALWAYS tell people around her about it.
She saw them at an animal shelter just a few blocks away from the GCPD after Chen and her got picked up by her father from school. Chen was 17 at the time, but he liked spending time with his little sister 🤷🏻♀️
Her being a 5 year old, got drawn to the window where the two kittens were shown along with the other few, but she noticed Salsa and Smoke the most from how chaotic the two kitties were. Rin had to adopt them, and she made sure her dad would agree on it.
Rin cried and sat by the sidewalk until her father told Chen to get her some ice cream while he did the paperwork on the adoption.
So she got what she wanted, and she loves them to death.
