Armistice, the tone going right over her head: ‘okay! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ’

The comforting smell of the stew bubbling in the slow cooker and faint classical music has put her in something of a trance. That’s not entirely bad, considering she was pouring over unit plans for the next quarter. Even with all the paint splatter on her skin and clothes, it’s still work.
However, Bernard’s voice broke her out of the spell and for a moment she studies the expression on his face. Pure frustration behind glasses that only brilliance can be the cause of. The frustration he got from her, the brilliance from a long unknown father. She’s glad Dad isn’t in the room now, Peter’d chime in with a Granddad joke.
She places down her pencil and looks at him for a soft moment. “Would you like some milk and honey before we go over it? Homework’s not like quicksand. It really can wait.”
Bernard placed his glasses back over his eyes and then adjusted them slightly as he looked from his text book back up to his mother as he contemplated the answer. His mother was right, his homework really could wait, but part of him wanted to go ahead and get it out of the way after spending so much time racking his brains over it.
Maybe a break would be good, he thought.
Turning his eyes back on his mother, Bernard gave her a nod and then pushed his book out of the way. “What are you making.” He asked as he pointed towards the cooker. He guessed it would be soup, but he wondered what kind. “Where’s grandpa?” It was a lot of questions, he knew, but he was a very curious child.
... Teddy Bear?
——— “well it’s cute when you give me a nickname but for the love of god please don’t ever call me that in front of armistice. i’ll never live it down —— heck she’ll probably print it on my tombstone.”

I really love pineapple on pizza. I also love avocado in pizza. I don’t know if pineapple and avocado together would taste good, but I can’t imagine it being all that bad. I’ll happily put any vegetarian-friendly topping on a pizza and give it a go. Last time I made pizza I used olives, avocado, mushrooms, kale, tomatoes, paprika, and a tiny bit of bbq sauce as topping. It was messy, but good!
What I don’t like on pizza is a lot of cheese. Too much cheese gives me a headache even though I don’t think I’m lactose intolerant, and I just don’t like too much cheese unless it’s really quality / not rubbery or stringy. I’d much rather have more sauce or some other topping.
... attempts to lead Hector's horse away with promises of carrots and apples.
——— hector’s horse is like hector himself immovable, no matter what —— wait are those green apples ?? well then, maybe just one and be as well getting some carrots too. oh, you’re pretty so maybe i’ll just —— i’ll stay here awhile. i wonder if she has more apples.
@dcathbringer | DOLORES | LIKED FOR A ONE LINER
“You are a pretty one, aren’t you?” A brow falls low over an examining green eye; “Seems a good enough investment for something that Tyrion suggested I will give them that.” She straightens then with a stricter tone falling off her lips. “Look at me.” The order came as natural as breathing- a smile faded for a brief moment before it graces delicate feature once again with an equally gentle hum.
