I’ve decided that I want to RP with Avery in both the MCU and DCEU. I’m going to update her bio to give her a DCEU verse when I get the chance, but here’s the basic information for now.
Her abilities and much of her backstory are the same, however, instead of HYDRA experimenting on her, it was a different terrorist organization. She was forced to work as an assassin for the organization for years under the codename of ‘Cyanide’, and was eventually left behind by accident during an emergency evacuation of the base/labs. Batman happened to be investigating the recently abandoned bunker for clues as to the organizations current whereabouts, and that was where he found Avery, scared and alone. He spoke to her gently, and eventually convinced her to come with him as it was better than waiting for her former “employers” to realize their mistake, and return looking for her and take her back. Bruce gave her a room in Wayne Manor, letting her stay there as long as she needed to. She was deeply traumatized, and had nowhere to go, believing her parents to be dead, as her oppressors has told her.
Over time, she bonded with, and came to trust Bruce and Alfred, and began recovering from the trauma. Grateful for everything they had done for her, she eventually began using her skills to help Batman, accompanying him on missions, still doing so to this day. She also still lives with Bruce and Alfred, having become almost like an adopted daughter to them. She works as a bartender at a club in Gotham, and she plays guitar in a small band, playing at various clubs in the city. Though she now knows her parents are alive, she didn’t move back to Australia with them, as she is content and feels needed where she is.
