She’d been staring at the page for a while now, trying to make sense of what she was reading. She could understand parts of it, but it was definitely different from the written language of Lugnica. In fact, she was pretty sure she’d never seen this language before at all. 

Why were there numbers and symbols and letters in this sentence? Why was it blank after the two lines? 

“This doesn’t make any sense..” she murmured quietly, wishing she could ask Puck, but he’d taken to napping while she was in any class that didn’t require magic. Glancing around, she bit her lip, tentatively tapping the nearest student’s arm.

“P-pardon me...but what is this supposed to say?”
