More Halloween fun with Jonathan Crane Aka... SCARECROW. A psychiatrist whose specialties were fear and phobias. He developed a fear toxin to use in his experiments but prolonged exposure drove him crazy as well as removing his fear of everything, except Batman. Because the Dark Knight detective is all he fears, he constantly provokes Batman because of his need to feel fear. Crane also uses his scarecrow mask which works in tandem with the gas to truly terrify his victims. First appearance World's Finest #3 Fall 1941. Created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger.
