“ Ah... so I came all this way and she... isn’t even here. ”

Sango’s voice was layered with disappointment upon hearing of Genkai’s passing. She had traveled so far to get to said temple, only to be greeted by the new occupants, naming themselves Yukina and Kazuma Kuwabara. 

“ I am sorry... is there anything perhaps, we can do for you since you’re here? ”

The brunette looks upon the smaller girl, studying her carefully. She didn’t suit the life of the city, actually stuck out rather oddly with her shades of mints and blues. But voice was soft and kind, with eyes that gleamed like that of rubies. Kirara goes on up to sniff at her out of curiosity and what seemed like familiarity... “ I... was just hoping to learn from her. Were... you all close with Lady Genkai? ” Sango inquires, wondering how much of her they truly knew. Or if they were humans, innocent to the existence of demons and the like. 

Kirara rubs about Yukina’s ankle and it becomes a bit clear that Genkai had affiliated herself with some very interesting people... “ You’re... a demon. ”

The eyes upon the other two widen, clearly surprised at the skills shown by Sango. All falls silent as her breathing stills. Unsure on how to handle the current situation. What surprised her more, was the lack of acknowledgment of this information from Kazuma. Was he also a demon?

“ Explain yourselves, I don’t want to have to kill you. What is going on here? ”

Her hand hovers above the hilt of her sword, ready to strike should anything come up. But the taller male stands before Yukina, protecting her with a look of bravery. 

“ Listen lady, I don’t know what you know or how you feel about them. But Yukina isn’t a bad demon, okay? But if you try to harm her, I, the great Kazuma Kuwabara will be your opponent! ” This revealed a couple things. One; Kazuma was not a demon but he was involved with one. And two; he fought in her stead either by choice or persuasion. However, even Kirara looked up upon the slayer with concern, almost as if she were trying to ease the tension...

“ That may be... but I want to understand the state of things here in this city. ”

          walking  into  her  place,  she  was  shocked  to  see  that  the  other  was  already  in.   ‘   i  don’t  know  how  you  got  in  and  i’m  not  sure  i  want  to  know  either.   ’   cat  admitted.   ‘   i’m  just  shocked  that  you  and  krystal  are  getting  along.   ’  //  @dcstini​

Hearing the gate creak open, Elias lifted his head. The large skull and horns lumbering into view like an eldritch flower amongst the greenery that was the garden. 

“Oh. You’re back early.” Hands clapped together, wiping off the majority of dirt and debris from his palms before he slapped them onto his knees, bracing himself to stand. “Unable to find what you wanted in town?” He almost sounded happy about the latter.

Hrmmm, the next time he goes and visit the past he’ll definitely apologize to Gohan for his reaction towards his more passive life considering JUST how tough an education was. Granted Trunks was not a bad student, with the Briefs genes laid within him by his grandfather and late mother he was able to clear his classes relatively easy to the point that they’d set him up into a more advance class..this was probably where Gohan had suffered although the last he saw him it never seemed so. 

“Ugh..” Trunks’ forehead lays flat against the open paper where all of his notes had been written. To most, it might have been nothing more than chicken scratch but to people with powerful minds, it was a rather complex equation toward understanding the fabric of time and space. He KNOWS this is not mere theoretical science but mere facts. His mother opened the door to time travel but its fuel source was an incredible burden and he sought a way to lessen the energy that’s needed for a trip around time whilst being able to travel further and further.

The answers were SO close but they still felt incredibly far away. “Sakura…is there any way I can just quit school now? I’ve already got my GED, do I really need college too?!” That was his fatigue talking but there was a part of him hoping the woman would take him up on his offer to be a dropout.

Here he was again, at the gravesite of his mentor and elder brother Gohan. It has been three years since his passing and peace had yet to be restored to the world, but he couldn’t help but feel just a little bit of guilt that the man who had initially fought so hard for peace was not here to enjoy it when he would eventually claim it. Trunks couldn’t help to feel as though he might have a hand in his death, it never really occurred to him until he had met Cell in the past, the moment he’s given the news that Cell had killed him in an alternate timeline after Trunks had found a way to defeat the androids himself..it only made him think.

‘Would he have defeated the androids on his own…had he not been worried about me?’ those were the thoughts that invaded his mind and though gohan had never given a verbal affirmation of those thoughts being his feelings but it was Trunks’ own survivor’s guilt that brought such things within his mind. “I promise I’ll bring peace back into the world Gohan, my mom did it, she made the time machine, I got to go back into the past..I even met my dad..I’m..sorry.”

Tears threatened to fall from his eyes but he fought them as hard as he could. His guard had been dropped completely as he felt a hand gently touching his back..something dangerous for him to do. Quickly turning around he saw that it was her..a friend of his mother’s that he’s meet on and off for quite some time now..she was here to comfort him..how nice. But alas, it only meant he was not the warrior that Gohan thinks of him to be if he’s still got people worried about him. “I’m sorry to worry you..Sakura right?”

             There was a pause when the woman heard the dwarf’s retort, thin brow raising in response before she shook her head a little. It was hard for her to take any compliments where it almost felt like she was the reason a lot of bad happened half the time. There was darkness below the city of Kirkwall and no one would notice it was there if they didn’t go looking. We need the blood of the hawk. She remembered those. She remembered the ruffled feathers when they went after her sister and brother. It wasn’t the best thing for them, but that only ensured they angered the eldest of them to a point she would hunt the ones that did this to her siblings. Varric had gone with them; Carver and Bethany in tow. She could remember their bickering throughout the time they were there. But that didn’t mean much other than the siblings were all back together.

            Now, however, she knew that things would need to be... carefully taken care of. Her siblings back with the Wardens now, sharp emeralds turned back to the dwarf after a long while of pondering. “Thank you, I suppose.” A momentary yield of which few would expect from her, though mentally she was still resisting compliments. She wished, however, to at least move past it. “Have you heard of any jobs needing done lately? Maybe you have a friend that needs something?” A means of hoping there was something to focus on aside from the deep roads. She didn’t remember them that fondly, though it wasn’t something that would effect her day to day. Not like some of the things they’d dealt with in their lives to this point.

           He was almost always worried about others more than himself. Selfless behavior at forefront instead of concerning much about himself. It was why he normally had a friend that made sure that he took care of himself just as much as he took care of others. But that didn’t stop him from making a face when he saw someone get too close to one of the others when they were on the battlefield. He was fast, it allowed him the ability to sneak up on others while he took them out with stealth. Having two smaller blades was preferred for him; regardless of how he helped with the blacksmith at camp... or how he scouted ahead to help locate safe grounds to sleep in during his time with his clan. Defending the group was no different.

             Many used to tell him he was a heart too big for anyone to match, others told him he was too soft. Regardless of their opinions, they failed to note that he would execute his enemies if they laid a finger on the people he cared for. He was here with family. A sister and brother. They had people they cared for as well... he would watch everyone’s backs...

              In this specific time, he made note... there was another getting too close near the end of the battle. The charge lead to his blades readying and face twisting in worry. He knew that someone might say something, but he was the closest to the problem. As soon as he finished what he was doing, he heard the voice, soft greens shifting to meet those of the mage a little ways away. Head shook a little, though he said no more than that for a moment. “Next time when you’re watching my face, you might wanna make sure you check behind you as well. I’d hate to see you hurt.” While tone was mostly serious, there was a playful note in it. He was good about noting when others were joking.. most of the time.. and tried to play along when he could.

            Thin brow raised in the direction of the much taller man, blues glancing over the other while he decided on what to say. Of all the names... “We need to work on your codenames. Fred?” The tone questioned the Qunari, expression following suit. He knew that it was an off the top of his head name, though knowing the Bull, Fred didn’t quite fit, now did it? Head shook and small sparks traveled the fabric of the elf’s armor, arcing some at the shoulder and arm guards before dissipating. “You can do better, can’t you dragon slayer?” An attempt at a new codename... and something that seemed to be within bounds for the man. He did like hunting dragons. Much more than his brother did--Castille more frequently turned his nose up and preferred to stay at camp rather than fight the beasts.

             But here, they weren’t fighting dragons; merely monstersin human form that they were trying to scope out for the Inquisition before the Inquisitor got there. Tiny armored elbow nudged the larger form, head tilting in the direction of someone that caught the bright blues of the elf. Bull was a lot better at reading people than the smaller was. Elves tended to be more up front while humans hid what they felt deeper than his own... Not to say elves didn’t hide their feelings. But a good look in someone’s eyes could usually tell them everything they needed to know. But he wasn’t close enough or willing enough to risk being seen to get a look at an exact stranger’s eyes. He knew something was bizarre with them, but... the skills of the other would be that much more helpful than he thought. “Tell me when we leave.” Meaning to tell him what they thought of the guy when they were no longer in earshot... He knew Bull; he wasn’t exactly loud, but he wasn’t exactly always quiet either.
