Two Weddings Spec talk

@valeriemperez and I have been going back and forth since SDCC on what we think marital status of Oliver/Felicity will be at the beginning of the season. I thought it was entirely possible they could be married from the get go and, based on recent spoilers, I think Tati's theory about how this all fits into the crossover is correct. It's a way to have the wedding happen on Arrow, but not literally share the day or dull importance of the crossover main event, the WestAllen wedding, even though it would be happening an episode before. And if that is what happens, I think I can fill in the blanks how...spoilers, spec, and specifics below

Here’s what we know:

1. TVline already teased that Supergirl was looking to cast a reverend for the crossover ep

2. Sanvers has most likely broken up by this point so the reverend is not for them.

3. David Ramsey has already spoiled that he officiates 2 weddings in the crossover

4.  WestAllen never does any milestone once

5. Based on spoilers today. Olicity is heavily insinuated as being one of the two weddings in the crossover.

So: As Tati mentioned, I think Oliver and Felicity decided to get married in the 6 months being surviving the explosion on the island and the S6 premiere. They’re already married in 6 x01, but hiding it because Oliver is a public figure and *reasons (maybe their hiding it from William as well because it’s too soon? idk). In the SuperGirl portion of the crossover, all the heroes gather for Barry and Iris’ wedding (aka wedding #1. Hence the SG casting of a reverend), which gets interrupted by Earth X invasion. At some point during Arrow, conversation turns to redoing the wedding, but they lost the reverend. Diggle offers to officiate and either insinuates or reveals that he has already married Oliver and Felicity. Then we get a flashback to their wedding, which is probably low-key/secret OTA/Team Arrow only. And then Diggle acts as officiant on the Flash and marries Barry and Iris in real time. Legends is reserved for the funeral of ****.
