“David! David!” Padme waved her hands above her head before jogging to catch up with the Blood Oath player. The moment she successfully reached his side, she linked her arm through his and gave him a bright smile. “Long time no see,” she said then, before he could answer, rattled on, “You look stressed. And you owe me a drink. You owe me lots of drinks. You free in...” She pretended to check her watch, though her wrist was quite empty. “Now minutes?”

Cat slammed her comm device down on the table, letting out a groan. If he was going to insist on either finding her or her going over, then she’d just take everything she had been working on with her. The closer she got to his place, she realized the door was left propped open. Which was good, she could dramatically stomp into his house without having to wait, which would have interfered with her path of frustration. Kitty let her heels on the steps of of his porch be enough of a warning before she slipped in through the entrance dropping sketchbooks, pencils, fabric, a pin cushion, and scissors on his dining table.
Hearing the clatter of everything hitting the hard surface was almost satisfying, but she knew David was waiting for her to acknowledge him, fully expecting some cool, nonchalant demeanor from his spot in the other side of the room. Tossing her hair over her shoulder she crossed her arms and looked at him, “I told you I was working. Happy?”

After the week she’d been having she just needed to take a break. Everything with finding out that her ex boyfriend was in the game, still feeling like she should totally avoid the Catalyst HQ, and trying to figure out how to ask Erebus to let her do something important was finally stressing her out. She decided to walk through the shops to see if there was anything there that caught her eye or gave her inspiration for something, then finally she found some weird pile of gears and took them, figuring she could rearrange them and fit it into some type of design.
Moving away from the general area of the shops, Kitty found a house that looked mostly vacant before sitting down outside against a wall and taking the gears, her book, and a pencil out of her inventory and started to sketch. Maybe she should’ve been paying better attention to where she was and who was around, but it was the pair of feet that appeared right in front of her, a few inches from her body, that drew her eyes upwards. Shit. She quickly scrambled up to her feet and gave the other player a spacey smile, hoping if she feigned overall innocence they’d just let her go.
The man looked familiar, and not exactly pleased to see her. With her hands toying at the bottom of her hair and a tilt of her head she bat her lashes, “I didn’t know anyone had been around, I wasn’t doing anything just drawing? I can leave if you want.”

After she had heard that he was finally released from the ICU, Kitty sent David a quick text that read one word: coffee? About a minute later she tacked on ‘at your place’. She didn’t really wait much before getting in line to get some herself from an actual player owned cafe rather than some NPC run, but figured even if he said no she’d find something to do with it later. While in line (she might’ve rolled her eyes) when she read his tea order.
She also knew that since he was second in command of Blood Oath, he couldn’t really casually be seen walking around Velia with just anyone, especially not a Circus member who caused a riff in Catalyst. Walking up the few steps to the front of his house she glanced around to see if there was anyone around, setting a cup down on a window sill to free her hand to knock.
He was easily becoming someone she considered one of her closest friends in game. Granted there wasn’t loads of competition to begin with, but still he was quickly becoming someone important to her. When the door swung open she met him with a smile, “Coffee, as promised and like your weird tea. So British.”

if nothing had been brought up to erebus by now, then she should be in the clear. but after finding out that the guy’s porch she managed to find was none other than the blood oath second in command. so she was back on that floor, pacing outside a little ways down from the house, trying to figure out what to say. the lights seemed on, which meant he was there and if he wasn’t it wouldn’t be the first time she waited for him to show up.
as she took the steps, her eyes glanced over the railing she had left the gear on, it wasn’t there and she was almost positive he got rid of it. after knocking on the door, she took a step back, creating more distance for when the door opens. “shit,” kitty said to herself, under her breath. even coming back here was a bad idea. the fleeting thought of just leaving and having him think it was some kids playing ding-dong-ditch was ruined when the door opened. everything she had rehearsed flew out the window when she saw him, her first words actually being, “what the fuck?”
the fear registered on her face seconds after she said it, followed by a visible wince, “i didn’t mean- shit- fuck- sorry!” she covered her face with her hands, shaking her head, asking through her hands, “so when were you planning on telling me you’re second in command?”
