That is, until a simple ghost hunt in the railway town of Ashland, Oregon, turns into a tangle with a god, and Dean begins thinking he should’ve been looking skyward instead.

ART MASTERPOST - SEARCHING FOR FAMILY FINDING HOME by Raven_Fuchs

Once upon a time there was a program called Orphan Train Movement where a lot of children from the East was transported to the West, to new families and lands in the hope of a better life. Some were lucky in their new places between these strangers, some were less fortunate. Dean, Sam and Cas are heading to the west with one of these trains. If you would like to know what happens with them on this journey, you should read Searching For Family Finding Home by Raven_Fuchs on AO3.

I was lucky that Raven_Fuchs choose my art. I've never heard before the orphan trains but with the help of Raven I saw a couple of documentaries and read more of this whole ordeal. Which, as someone who loves history was a really interesting experience to know more about this part of the history of America. Especially if you think about how the last train went on its journey less than 100 years ago.

For the art, my only thoought before the claims was that Dean's bandana originally belonged to Cas. So it was not even a question that on the banner I would like to put on the exchange of their bandanas. I'm quite fond of this banner. Hope it lures you in to read this awesome story. ;)

If you are interested in the wild west, train robbers, a quest of revenge and a beautiful love story, you should definitely read Wild Blue Iris from @sunkenfox !!!

I had the honour to draw the art for it and it was so much fun! The whole concept was so exciting for me with all the green grass frame, the fog and try to show the rain. I never done that before so it was a real challenge. Hope you like it!
