It’s Miku’s birthday! I didn’t have anything drawn specially this year, but I did take some nice photos of DD Miku in the garden.

This is two weeks late, but happy 16th birthday Miku! I bought DD Miku a new wig for the occasion although it didn’t arrive until yesterday. I’d been meaning to get around to getting a new Miku wig for years because the one I have is very second hand and pretty messed up, so I’m glad Volks just let you buy the wig from them now. Im used to seeing my Miku with short hair, but she really does look cutest with her classic hair style.
Just some cute pics of Miku and Luka in some outfits I got for them months ago and procrastinated on opening until now.
Number 3 is DD Hatsune Miku! Miku herself means so much to me although I got mine in a roundabout way - someone in a doll chat group I joined when I was living in Fukuoka gifted me her head in October 2016 and hands and I bought a second hand Snow Miku body off of yahoo auction in January 2017 for her. I also found the short wig from the Mikuzukin outfit set around the same time and decided it could be a temporary one for her until I managed to get an actual Miku wig, but in the end I liked her with short hair too much and she kinda ended up staying like this. (The short wig has the added bonus of not tangling when you look at it) Sometimes she transforms into Snow Miku by changing wigs.
I’m really bad at keeping this blog active, and it’s probably best to follow my Instagram (torinomh) for more up to date stuff but I’m gonna slowly start putting photos back here - starting with some pics of glasses Luka when Fukuoka Volks has a restaurant for the photo space. Luka’s glasses are from the gachapon series Eyewear Collection.
