So I started with a really fun idea but about half way through I started to not like it as much. I decided to push through and finish the linework and it came out okay. And since I had the colors saved and a reference sheet already made I just went ahead and colored it too. I like doing the colors but I still have no idea what I’m doing and it takes longer than it probably should.

Oh my gosh this was really fun to draw! I’m getting a lot of good pieces done waaay faster now that I have a decent drawing skeleton. I think I might do a bit more fun pieces like this and just note down some flaws and worry about them later, because I want to do more art like this.

Back to daily posts, for my days off at least. Starting with me trying to simplify and improve the anatomy sketches I’ve been working on. I’ve also been putting more time to work on some stuff for October’s theme. It won’t be conventional art for the majority of it but it should be a lot of fun work for me to do, with plenty to show off.

I think I’m done with these anatomy sketches for now, I may come back to them in the future. Right now though, I’m ready to do art for the fun of art again. Silly challenges, OCs, and actually getting to use this stuff that I learned.

Well this one was fun, and not just because I got to draw boobs, I actually learned a lot of stuff that’ll be helpful when I go to simplify my drawing skeleton.

So I added some legs to my anatomy practice sketches. I learned a lot especially about the knees. (The proportions don’t exactly match the upper torso but I wasn’t really focused on that today.)
