I have the honor of knowing Lt. Col. David Hamilton USAFR (Ret.). He is a sweet and humble man who will turn 100 years old July 20th. He also is the LAST surviving Pathfinder pilot. They flew the first Pathfinder paratroopers into Normany during World War II and were critical to the success of the invasion. He is pictured with his ADT C-47 “Boogie Baby”. He credits his longevity to "Good genes and crappy German anti-aircraft fire."
