me, two days of not drawing: going through an art funk rn

fjdkdjd genuinely tho, thinking of changing how i draw..? which means i'll have to do studies hmmgmm

watched csm movie and it changed me a little bit, i should watch look back next fhdjfh

i know my skills in coding are lacking but like ok struggling for like 2 weeks on a simple thing honestly feels excessive ngl (i feel like its a simple thing idk) (its html search filters + pagination which sounds so easy in theory)

anw couldnt get it done in 2 weeks and i swear i was looking up tutorials and mixing and matching it to fit the existing codes and.

another person "helped" (putting it into an ai) to finish the thing and its done in 10 mins. or maybe 5 idk havent actually looked through the changed codes yet but. come on man. (it was after working hours idw see the codes anymore)

i gotta up my game i guess😞😞😞😞

random thing that i found and i want to remember?

someone asked me about the name of a plankton meme, it was not 'plankton got served', it was something that looked similar, with plankton sitting on a bed.

so naturally i went to searching (i love me a treasure hunt) tried reverse image search and got a tiktok with the image. doesn't understand any of the context.

scrolled a bit down and found a deviantart page. weird, but i clicked into it and it was a gif of plankton making different poses. saw an idle one at the side. clicked on it and it was the original image, without the bed. just a png(?) of plankton. (link)

went back to the reverse image search page and saw a fandom wiki of a poll with on it. clicking it somehow lead me to a wiki of a friday night funkin mod called mistful crimson morning. (link)

so again i went to search and found the website with the mod on it! (link) i can't get through the first level. yet.

finally felt like reading this year's lantern rite(didnt played it this year u_u) and damn. im at the third act and wow. hutao. dont do this to us fhdkjsh

them putting the fact that traveler doesnt exist in the leyline was brilliant thooo (well i feel sad about it but yk.)

i dont write often, only when i want to get an idea out immediately or i know i dont have the time or skill to draw it.

with that being said, i managed to write 3 fics with almost 2k words in the past month :DDDD theyre not finished but the fact that i could make them that long makes me proud a bit ahahah two of them is not finished yet bcuz i dont know how to end a story unfortunately orz but i'll keep chipping at them🫡🫡 it'll be done one day🫡🫡

(the latest one is a smut fic that i finished in a few hours and the fact that it had almost the same word count as the other fics is making me question myself ahaha)

(also also a part of this fic had the same idea as another writer that had also posted their fic today is sending me. telepathy🤝)

been wanting recognition(? feedback? acknowledgement!!) to my drawings recently its slowly killing me (having it so bad i dreamt about it💀)

drew smtg to someone and idk if they saw it or not or just yk. ignoring it warghh probably not but aaaaaaaa rn im assuming that twit just didnt send the notif u______u OR THEYRE JUST BUSY. LIKE I AM. trying to forget about it but i keep instinctively checking twit and dealing psychic damage to myself o(-(

to fill in the gap i want to post my other stuff but IM HOLDING MYSELF BACK trying to not put my worth in numbers but honestly i feel like i just want to have someone to talk to me😔

in other news, gonna try boothing next month :D but they want a preview of a catalogue in a week and uhm. i dont have many things. doing my best drawing merch right nowwww im so nervous,,, and sooo busyy warghhh employed life is not for me fjdjfhf

suddenly remember i need to think of a booth name. argh. oughh. nooooooo

biggest fear honestly is no one buying my stuff,,, thinking that i dont want to print to many quantity but fren is encouraging me to get a lot more than i planned and idk man.

honestly thinking that this might be the one and only time boothing so i dont wanna have too many leftovers ykyk as much as i like my drawings i dont need more than 3 copies of them ahahah

but frens have said my stuff aint that bad, but i think the problem is that i dont. draw the popular stuff,, at least not anymore i guess i dont know.

theres the very popular vtubers, the one that i know there are fans of, and then theres the vtuber that i like. which is new and. ok well shes funny so theres a bunch of memes i could draw of her but idk. i drew stuff that sparks my joy, others not so much so idkkkk

my expectation for the event is:

1. sell at least something, dont need to profit also okay

2. talk to booth neighbours and maybe yk, get a friend? or even talk to the people coming to the event and get a friend!!
