Wait why are you going on strike and boycotting tumblr for a day? What did they do that was so bad
There's been some issues that have flared up especially recently with the new update and the flaws in the new photoset's layout and design in particular. A lot of artists and people trying to upload pictures have had their work resized and messed with in the new layout to the point that it's hardly displayable.
Personally, that particular example doesn't affect me largely, but I sympathize with those affected when they put hard work into making these things FOR TUMBLR only for it to not work.
My own major reason is I feel like Tumblr has a whole lot of (useless) updating for the sake of updating, without really listening to what the users are asking for. They do a lot of changing working features and not enough changing things that aren't working. I'd really appreciate if they did a little more of the "asking their own users what they want." People shouldn't have to turn to things like Xkit and other external options for ease of use. Tumblr should be catering to that ease of use, y'know?
I'm not pissed like some people, but if that day-long strike I just did made any difference in changing the website for the better, I am very cool with it. :)
(It probably didn't but hey it's like all the voting commercials every drop in this big blue - and now faintly purple as well - tumblr ocean counts)
