Poetry Time... || Cain || Chapter Two Open
Time to share poems. ....Great. Cain really didn’t want to, but they were all asked to, so... Time to share poems! They grab their notebook, but proceed to immediately drop it. They awkwardly go to their knees to pick it back up, but they fumble for a few moments before finally having it in their hand.
While it’s in their hand, they nearly drop it again while trying to open up to the right page, but they manage. Cain clears their throat, and gets ready to read.
“it is your talent, it appears to scar the windows of my soul escaping your winter and the cold that surrounds you into my heart.”
As he reads, there are his trademark unwarranted pauses, but it otherwise goes smoothly.
Cain pauses for a few seconds after reading, before nodding his head down in a half-bowing motion. “...Title... undecided.” He’s still unhappy with having to share poems, especially since he really doesn’t like any of his, but his face remains stoic as he stares out into the audience.
He drops the notebook again.
