I'm seeing arcane everywhere but I havent started it again after I dropped it :(

funny you should ask me this right after i just watched the last act

i love arcane so much. it’s to me unironically probably one of the best tv shows ever made (and the fact that i think this about a fucking league of legends show of all things makes me so mad but that’s another story 😂) and 100% one of my favorite tv shows ever. the animation is stunning, literally the best i’ve ever seen, like even before i process anything about the story and characters, every time i watch this show the animation makes my jaw drop

the 1st season is this perfectly constructed tragedy where it’s like you can see all the little places where maybe it could’ve gone differently but then you also understand that it couldn’t have because of the characters being who they are. the 2nd season…i’m still deciding if i liked the pacing of it cuz even if i’m satisfied with how the plot goes, i do feel that it was a bit rushed with a few too many fight scenes for my taste

the #1 thing about arcane that makes it appeal to me is that it’s the doomed siblings show. that even as the main conflict expands far beyond jinx and vi, in the end they and their tumultuous relationship are the heart of the show and without both of them, the whole story of arcane can’t happen. the other main appeal of this show to me is the variety and complexity it lends its female characters. arcane not only passes the bechdel test with flying colors but allows many of its major female characters to be morally grey in a way i greatly appreciate. and it also lets its women kick ass, which i also appreciate. the soundtrack for the show is also absolutely banging, especially for the 2nd season. i’ve had many of the songs on nonstop repeat for the whole month basically

and of course. most of the cast is canonically queer if that’s a thing you care about it 😂

anyways this is to say, arcane i love it. please watch it!

HEPLP somebody on twitter suggested scaramouche as shin tsukimi and han sooyoung's lovechild because they shared traits but i don't actually know scaramouche that much, i'm not a genshin player :P
