Lock-In || Taeyeon & Jimin

After a few close calls in which she wasn’t sure if she’d make it to the designated pack meeting place to change or not, Taeyeon decided she would look into what would be needed to essentially turn her own apartment into a makeshift prison for her monthly change into her wolf form.  She hated the thought that she might wait too long and lose control, hurting an innocent in the process, but it was a reality, so if she had a safeguard in her own home, it would be better to have than to risk not being able to make it to the area on time.  Down the line when she learned better control, it might not be that big of an issue, but for now, it was a concern.

Doing some research, she found a company that handled security systems and the such in the city, so she figured she’d go look into it, to see if her specific idea would work or not.  After being bounced around a bit, she found herself finally in front of a young man whom they said would be “more equipped to handle this sort of thing.” and the fact that they said she could get a free quote was very helpful to her.  “So...what I’m looking for is a security system with a sort of timer, so that it will unlock itself when a specified time occurs.  Do you think that would be possible?”

bt* – (i can) love you better.

hands clench around his wooden desk, fingers turning white as woozi fights to keep his attention on the lesson-- but he thinks it’s impossible. his posture is tense, body tight and teeth clenched because all he can think of is earlier that day when he brushed past a certain upperclassman. even without seeing his face, the boy knows his scent anywhere. except today, the scent was all wrong. for one, the young alpha was in heat, he knew, and frankly woozi was surprised he’d even come to school at all. but the smell of his heat was not the problem, not in the least. he had stopped in the hallway and looked behind him even after jimin had long turned a corner and disappeared, pupils blown wide and scowl tugging his lips downwards because jimin’s scent, the familiar scent he was so used to, was marred by someone else’s. 

it smelled rotten. repulsive. 

he hated it.

when they were released at last, woozi was the first one out the door, backpack slung haphazardly over his shoulder because he couldn’t be bothered to put it on properly. and he smells him before he sees him-- that strong, clashing of scents that make woozi’s eyes flash as his footsteps speed up to catch up to the older male. luck is on his side because they’re out of the school gates already, and the smaller boy grabs jimin’s wrist, tugging him aside and into a small alleyway with all the strength he could muster.

and he just stares, eyes wide before he finally moves, leans forward and sniffs-- and as if confirming his suspicions, his lips pull back into a snarl as he flinches back, wild look in his eyes as breaths leave his lips in heavy exhales. he’s never felt like this before, has no idea what’s going on or why he’s so disgusted at the scent of someone else on jimin. but before he consciously realizes, an offer spills from his lips, firm and clear, hopeful even, as he meets the elder’s gaze steadily.

“let me help you.”
