  經常觀看國外影集的朋友肯定對露營車不陌生，在影中似乎可以窺見外國人對駕駛露營車享受大自然的洗禮似乎情有獨鍾，雖然悠閒的露營時光及和樂的旅途令人羨慕，但不知道你是否和我一樣，想到要在一輛狹長的露營車上擠進一個家庭就覺得疲憊。不過在強調收納及多功能的現在，狹窄空間似乎不再是個問題囉，由荷蘭設計師Eduard Bohtlingk發想的露營拖車「De Markies trailer」就充分揮發車子的每一個部分，打造出可以更舒適容納一家人的露營車。

De Markies trailer在路上奔馳時和一般房車無異、甚至更無趣，就算經過你身邊無數次，也許連眼皮都懶得抬。不過當到達露營地時，才是它發揮實力的關鍵，De Markies…

“De Markies” (The Awning) was an entry in the “Temporary Living” competition 1985 and was conceived as a mobile home. On the road, it measures 2.00 m by 4.50 m, and once it has arrived at its destination its floorspace can be increased threefold in a matter of seconds. “De Markies” was awarded the Public Prize at the Rotterdam Design Prize 1996.
