I love making/designing Carrd pages that are meant to be in-character for Guild Wars 2 businesses in some way. So - I figured - I might as well show off some of the ones I have. A lot of the images are using GW2 images, stock images, or some logos I made myself! The latest one I'm working on is for my character, Tristan's, shop. (I'm trying to do this from scratch!)

Eulogy

Goodnight sweet sunset Sang your brothers with dewy azure eyes Laid your soul to rest Under the matching morning sky Good morning dark knight You weren't greeted by those in mourning As you took her from their arms Without even a warning All that was left of her Was a gravestone and her bed And the lingering thoughts of What could you have done instead? They stand like specters Staring wistfully at your grave At the eulogy they wrote At the memories they tried to save I stand here in this graveyard too. I watch them, see them as they stare. Watching these specters pass me by. They see me - but pretend I'm not there. They cling to these graves Written on the worn stone Begging for you to return Asking how they can atone. I gave you flowers before I left Ran my fingers along your name A memory carved into stone Before I went the way I came This is a monument A reminder of what you were Of the life you once lived When you were her Cherished in my memories Still here even when gone Your gravestone's still there But we have to move on
